Who's got two thumbs and is only just now getting around to playing Portal? THIS GUY. Not Portal 2, either. Portal. The one that came out in the Orange Box. The Orange Box that I didn't buy even though I played TF2 for literally years. (I got TF2 standalone because of not having any interest whatsoever in Half Life.)
Nobody told me this game was creepy. It keys off all my postapoc antennae and I'm very, very aware that I am the only living creature in the world of this game.
I'm not quite done with it - I keep taking breaks; I'm about to enter the test chamber that is the first one where you meet turrets, I think it might be #16? It's such a good game oh my god, I can see why everyone's crazy about it, but holy cow the setting is creepy to me. Wanna get dat Portal 2.
