[written]

How is everyone doing? It appears there are no aftershocks to speak of, but the ground has worn away since the initial earthquake. The rivers have overflowed in some areas, eroding the riversides.

The Blue Rogues are organized to rescue people. I'm sure there are others who have pulled together to help out and salvage homes; let me know ( Read more... )

C6 is stable and for the most part undamaged.

I'd help with the dig, but I'm already at the barracks.

...and I can hunt for meat, a6t any rate, when McCoy doesn't need me.

Community building 6. Noted. Do you know if anyone is organizing space for people to camp there?

Your offer is also noted, Derek. Salvaging what food survived in refrigerators and the stores would be preferable before we start into the wildlife.

There were only a few people living there to being with, so I doubt it. And four of us moved out last week.

I'll help with that, although it might be best to at least see what can be caught. The sooner we bolster the supplies, the less trouble we'll have with being short of food. And if we wait until the situation is dire, we might be out of luck finding anything that hasn't already fled the area.

Very well. I will see if anyone will volunteer to look over the building.

No one is suggesting we wait until the situation is dire. Do you have the supplies to prepare any caught animals so they won't rot? That is my only concern.

I have some. And there's always the option of making jerky. Won't be world class fare, but at least it'll be food.

Might want to set someone on finding useable plant life, too. I can talk with Faeren, but someone who actually has a good working knowledge of how to identify edibles would probably be a better bet for that run. I recognize some plants, but not all of them.

I know Sir Labrador may be helpful with identifying plants. [And he has a feeling he knows of a few others.] I will put forward the request.
