Whatever it is, it naturally seems to be having it's intended effect on the majority of the population. As usual.

As usual.

You are faring well under these conditions, Professor?

I'm... fine.

I suppose this will hinder anything I intended to do with the school this week, so it's as good a time as any to get back to researching.

Indeed.

It's a pity; it seems a vast amount of population suffers from traumatic experiences with the dead in their pasts.

It doesn't help either that a portion of the population were also once dead, themselves.

It's just pointless mind games, all of it. They're not real; only phantoms designed to unnerve those able to see them. People need to find a better way of distracting themselves, assuming that this is to last a week. Hopefully without any less-than-favorable additions to the situation.

I imagine this experiment will cause confusion and slight strain to those who fall under that criteria.

In a place like Luceti, where one has to create their own distractions, the likelihood of success is rather disappointing. We will see how well the population survives a mental onslaught, I suppose.

I wouldn't doubt it. It probably adds an amusing variable in for them, but most things would.

Perhaps so. For now I intend to go where I'm needed; why delay?

And where are you needed at the moment, Professor?

As I said, this seems to be the perfect opportunity for research, unless I am called back here.

Do keep an eye out for any haunted individuals outside of the village. The ones not residing in the village are usually the ones to worry about the most.

Hm. Yes, I suppose you have a point.

It's always something to keep in mind while traveling alone during an experiment.
