Teen Wolf's latest

Warning, spoilers galore.

Okay, I've loved the hell out of 3B so far because I love the psychological horror and I love the focus on Scott and Stiles's friendship, and yay, they played go! Kitsune! Until, of course, they killed off Allison.

It was not unexpected but I'm still upset (for a moment I thought it was Isaac who was going to die, and I would've been more okay with that; although I liked his scene with Stiles in the episode). I loved Allison, I loved her bow-shooting, I liked the hunter side of the show (which is bound to disappear I guess? What's going to happen to poor Chris?) and now it's gone and guh. I also loved Allison and Lydia's friendship (I feel teary thinking that when Lydia sent messages saying "don't find me" it was because she knew Allison would die ;_;) and I kinda loved Allison/Scott/Stiles (in a quite not shippy way? Maybe? I don't know, everyone can be shipped with everyone in this show) and I always wished for more interactions between Allison and Stiles (they shared a certain ruthlessness and it would've been so interesting to see more of them) and now it's never going to happen, is it?

I realize now that the reason I could never completely warm up to Kira is because she was so obviously set up to take Allison's place. Now I feel a bit resentful toward her character. I hope they do something interesting with her (she needs to interact a little more with characters other than Scott for starters).

Onto a sillier rant now - what's with the French butchering, show? No, coup de foudre isn't pronounced that way. It's so far from being pronounced that way that everytime a character says it I think they're speaking another language (like, genuinely, I'm not being sarcastic here). The e at the end is silent! Also, no, coup de foudre doesn't mean "bolt of lightning" - éclair means bolt of lightening, and foudre means lightning. Coup de foudre could be translated literally by "strike of lightning", but it's never used literally, it's always a metaphor used to talk about love at first sight.

Okay, I feel better now.

pointless rambling, non-spn shows, french
