SPN 8.01 and other shows

I've watched a few things lately (as a result to having no time to read fic; at least I work at my oral understanding of English! is my justification). Here are various thoughts, in case anyone is interested.

So, here I am with my promised comment. :) Well, you already know what I think about SPN 8x01, so let's move on to the other shows ...

Haven: I have to agree that I find it sad that the current circumstances drive a wedge between Nathan, Audrey and Duke, especially since they have grown into such a great team in S2. I am still convinced, however, that the endgame is about the three of them standing together to fight their destiny. I would really hate for one of them to go over the edge. Nathan's hostility towards Duke is totally exaggerated, though. I get that he feels overprotective of Audrey, but so far Duke has given him no reason to assume that he will harm her, so yeah, he comes off as unreasonably aggressive. At least Audrey doesn't tolerate Nathan's behaviour and continues to seek Duke out, which I think is important to keep him anchored. Talking about Duke, that moment where he confesses to Audrey that he did kill the troubled guy in the last episode broke my heart. I hope they won't go down a dark path with the character. ( ... )

Yeah, I'm worried about what they're planning to do with Duke - obviously in this episode killing the troubled guy was the right thing to do (he was going to die anyway, and it saved his many children), but what is it going to do to him? I hope Nathan calms down after a bit - yes, he's worried about Audrey, but it's kind of insulting to her judgement and her ability to take care of herself.

About Teen Wolf, I like the relationship of Stiles and his father too, it's really sweet - that's why I hope that he will in the know in the next season. The season 2 plot was really interesting, I liked that it had many layers, and that there wasn't really a clear line of "bad guys" vs "good guys," but that everyone kind of wanted the same thing, but with different methods.
