London update #1 - settling in
1. We have moved into LSE's High Holborn student housing, will be here till 20 Sept and then moving again to the LSE Grosvenor House student housing.
2. Today my husband went to register at LSE, got his timetable for the next month, and managed to set up a bank account and transfer money over.
3. Both of us registered with NHS so we're covered somewhat for medical emergencies.
4. Tomorrow I am going to apply for a job hopefully and then hopefully get my bank account settled. Because we're staying in student housing, I actually need to be employed in order to set up a bank account. *wry look*
5. I'm considering taking some classes. Still considering.
6. I have a UK mobile phone number with data! That one my husband is still waiting for.
7. Also, I'm going to try and cook us dinner tomorrow night using the shared kitchen with all the shared utensils etc.
And! Our photographer for our recent wedding ceremony put up the photo montage video that he used for the dinner. Want to see? :)
