Dance Fever!
For people who were unfortunate to hang out with me today, sorry for lapsing into dance fangirling every other conversation!
I was basically raving my head off about the trial class of Argentinian Tango I took at En Motion this morning. It was that impactful. Still trying to figure out whether a Sunday 7-8PM dance class is worth taking. 5 lessons for 80 bucks. But sunday night??? Hrmmm.
And if you want to be inspired, this clip is like an upgraded version of what we saw when the instructors did a little showcase for us:
It's a must see. So. Pretty. It's like sex on the dance floor.
After Tango class we took the trial Bachata class. Every time during open floor dance night for Salsa, they'd pop in a bachata song for every four salsa songs and all the salsa-only dancers would stand around admiring the super sensual bachata dancers. But man, it's hard! So many different isolated body movements go into one very exotic looking hip+rib-cage+feet move!
This is akin to what we get to see on the dance floor. Smoking hot!
I also took the chacha class after that, really fun! But after the tango and the bachata class, it kind of pales in comparison... Hahahaha.
Anyway they didn't have Bachata class on Sat yet (they have it on Mondays, when I'm already taking Ladies Salsa Styling classes) so the bunch of us told them to inform us once the sat Bachata classes start. Now, whether to tango or not...
