Laruku and Suzumiya Haruhi
Just a little post before I rush off for my Entrepreneurial Finance Mid-term this morning...
Watched more than half of Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekisou (the Live where the seiyuus come out and perform) yesterday night whilst I studied. More like streamed it in the background. THANK YOU evil_neo for passing it to me!! *_* It's gorgeous! Hirano Aya is so CUTE in real life! She has such a career ahead of her as one of those seiyuus/idols/superstars. (only 20 this year! And she did Reira in the NANA anime too!) And the seiyuus for Mikuru and Yuki are very cute too! Yuki's real voice is very different though and she used a different voice to sing. All in all a very interesting experience made richer because of Kohaku training (listening to how they sing and how they switch to their character voices). LOVE the GOD KNOWS and the ENOZ members were SO CUTE! And yeah, I was SO happy that the male seiyuus also got to strut their stuff (honestly? The Itsuki seiyuu's item was SO GHEI and GETAI!!! He even came up with a new word kimokakkoii to describe it, both kakkoii (cool) and kimoi (eww)!), rather sad that the Kyon voice actor didn't sing his version of Hare Hare. And the odd guy crossdressing as Haruhi... ISN'T HE THE SEIYUU FOR LUCKY STAR'S SHIRAISHI??? *vows to check and double check the seiyuu listing for Suzumiya, Lucky Star and FMP* (I WAS RIgHT! He's Taniguchi in Suzumiya and his real name IS MINORU SHIRAISHI! >_<)But yeah will HAVE to watch the rest of it soon. Gorgeous! Neo, what's on Disc 1? Now I have to rewatch that Lucky Star ep when they went to see the exact same Gekisou and see how funny they animated it... (and for those interested, a very well written summary with screenshots of the concert ++ on this blog...)
(And I'm quite happy that I can understand most of it without the subtitles, even the talking. Mostly because the subtitles don't work on my comp, my mac probably can't read the chinese font.)
And this morning, I woke up and downloaded the new PV from Laruku, DAYBREAK'S BELL. KYAHHH. Love the song and LOVE the PV even more! I'm always reminded everytime I listen or look at them why I love them so much... They look SO gorgeous in the PV. Just imagine they're 40 or 40+ already! (Actually, yeah, I just found out my rather hawt guest choreographer Jeffrey is already 45. OHMYGOD. Talk about taking good care of your body...) Ken, surprisingly, looked REALLY good in this PV. Maybe I'm just not used to seeing him so clean-shaven. And Hyde and Yuki of course, looked great. BUT TETSU!!! *foams at the mouth* HOW CAN HE BE SO PRETTY??? You know, if they release a figurine of Tetsu in that hairstyle and look I will SO buy. If I have the money. But yeah. Too pretty!
Mid-term in the morning, probably do work in school (or meet with people??) till 1+, when I'm meeting Hayati for the Strapya order, need to transfer money to Bern for the Threadless order (BERN... my shirt?), then head down to Craft Swop at 2pm, run off slightly earlier to work at Meritus Mandarin at 4.30pm. That's my day~
[Edit]: Just finished my mid-term, finished it in 1 hour instead of 2 and a half, walked out of the room first. *shrug* Used to it. Somehow when it comes to mathematical exams I always finish far too early. I checked my paper too! But anyway, left with a few hours before the CraftSwop and meeting with Hayati so might be wondering around Arab Street area because I doubt I'd have the time to walk around it later.
