"The bird fights its way out of the egg. The egg is the world. Who would be born must destroy a world. The bird flies to God. That God's name is Abraxas."
-Max Demian by Herman Hesse
Our very first meeting was when i was 15.
People say this book is difficult, but at that time i could already understand and sense its meaning for my personal life.
For me the storyline wasn't as important as the insides of the characters.
Max Demian mesmerized me the most.
Him and his twisted, strange ideologies. About Cain, about Good and Evil/ God and Devil and about the humanbeing.
He is no human and yet manlike.
He killed his past, feeble God.
And he has arisen for me.
God or Alter Ego....
