I never said being childish was a bad thing. In fact, there's a certain whimsy to that style.

[Miya removes a smaller brush from her cloth sack and dips it into one ink pot. She draws a few long, elegant strokes, then jumps back as a drop of water falls onto it, making the ink slightly blurred. The image was still determinable, that of a leaping horse, but the ink was beginning to run near its hind leg.]

Let mistakes become your strength. If you over compensate when something goes amiss, you'll end up ruining your presentation. So, instead, move with the mistake like water moves with an obstacle in a creek.
