Thirtieth Ink Drop [Action]

[Today was a good day.

It was moderately sunny, not too cold, and the wind was just right. So, Miyabi was bouncing her way toward the plaza happily, singing a little song in Japanese to herself. She had just finished a fresh batch of paintings and was going to spread them around the plaza for people to see.

And this time, she was truly proud of her work. With the change of the seasons, Miyabi felt it'd be a good idea to honor the gods of flora before the winter months crept in. The portrait was of the Hanagami, the triumvirate monkey gods that ruled over the earth itself. The picture was truly stunning to look at, and perhaps the poncle's best work to date. Furthermore, she had finally, finally, achieved her goal of inducing strong emotions through her art. The portrait, as well as looking beautiful, also made the looker earn a sense of soft tranquility. A peace of the mind, and a revival of the spirit.

She'd never been able to do this before.

So, leaping her way across one of the many bridges, Miyabi was feeling pretty cheerful, even carrying a heavy scroll above her head that had her paintings in it. However, the poncle was also blissfully unaware that she was being pursued. Bouncing along behind her was a small, white, glowing mallet, that would duck any into a bush or behind a rock whenever she stopped to turn around. When the poncle stopped for a break on the railing of the bridge, catching the light breeze, that's when it struck.

WHAM!]

YAAAAAAH!!

[The resounding splash was large and vibrant at the ponclet - now human sized - fell off the railing and right onto the water. The Lucky Mallet bounded towards the shore, hopping up and down in place as if it were pleased with itself. Another wish fulfilled!

That is, until the ponclet broke the surface of the water, her butterfly cap sagging over her eyes and dripping water. She picked up the wet scroll as it floated by pulling it out of the water and looking down at it with a horrified expression.

The paint and ink was running off the sturdy parchment in thick, globby lines. Her work, that she spent so much time on, and was actually so very proud of, was no more. She just stood there for a moment, mortified, before she hunched up her shoulders, gripped the paper tightly in her fingers, and leered over the paper towards the Lucky Mallet, which stopped bouncing immediately.]

You...

[She couldn't get in another word. As soon as that one was spoke, the poor little mallet, fearing for its life, bounded away. with the girl screeching and chasing after it, sword raised high above her head. Villagers in the nearby vicinity may hear and see a loud explosion - or three - and a tall waterspout from the river. If they decide to investigate, they'll see a very wet, very angry looking young girl, sitting on...something tightly woven in a large, wet scroll. Her sword was stuck in the ground beside her as she wrung out her hair, cap, and dress, snarling viciously.]

That's the last straw!! You're not gonna go running off anymore from now on, you stupid mallet! You hear me?! Starting today, right now, you're listening to me. If I wanna get big or small, you're gonna do it, or I'll practice my other Skills on you.

Nyeh...now where am I gonna keep you? Mm, I could always just bury you, if you don't behave.

[The confined mallet wriggled in protest, but didn't go anywhere, especially when Miyabi prodded it roughly with the point of her sword.]

[OOC: Just a little note! Basically, Miya's just caught the Lucky Mallet, so it's not running around Luceti anymore, since that's awkward and leaves too many open doors, blablabla. She'll be keeping it, and will use it very sparingly to get bigger sometimes, since having her larger all the time is lame and no fun on my part.

Also got mod permission for this. |Db]
