Eighteenth Ink Drop [Accidental Voice]

After a second, a light sigh is heard as Miyabi finally speaks, moving a few things around. It doesn't sound like her usual tinkle of inkpots, though...]

[Ah, that melancholy tone does not deter this poncle! No, she just grin and puts her hands behind her head.] Gifts shouldn't be hidden by those wrapping things. If I can find a way to get everything into their house privately, I'm leaving everything out where they can see it the next morning. Except for the gift for Chopper. I can't exactly plant a tree in their house~

[Miyabi hums and isn't telling the broomhead that she also has a gift for him, too, and will be a sneakysneaky ninja about it and try to get him out of his house...somehow to deliver his gift, too.]

[Perks right up again.] That's good. It'd be no fun to give them gifts if they were suspicious of them after all! And you're getting Chopper a tree? I'm not sure winter is the best time for planting them - isn't it too cold and the ground too hard for the roots to take hold?

[Vash still needs to grasp this whole 'magic' thing. As for being a sneaky ninja and sneaking in when he's not home won't be too hard. Someone has been out a lot in the forest lately practicing and Meryl works!]

Exactly. With everything that's been happening to them, I'm not surprised they're so suspicious... That's mostly the reason why I wanted to treat them in the first place. They need a little something nice. [She blinks, then laughs softly, her lips curling into a soft, mischievous smirk.] You'd be surprised at what my sword can do, Vash~ Besides, sakura are hardy plants. We have a great cherry blossom tree growing even in Kamui, where it's always cold.

[We'll be sure to let Meryl know, when we actually find out you both live together. Though somehow...it seems a lot easier to get you out of the house than it does the Straw Hats. No offense. |D;]

[Possibly because Vash is a social butterfly if people are trying to kill him or not. Hell he’d make friends with those trying to kill him if they’d let him.] I’ve never seen a cherry blos-um… [Finally paying more attention to that conversation above.] …please don’t encourage him to blow up their house again…

You haven't? There's actually a big cherry blossom tree right here in Luceti! It's where I am now, in fact. Mother Amaterasu made it. [Miyabi picks up her journal and bounces a few feet way, holding the journal up to catch a glimpse of the tree. It was a decent size, but not in full, pink bloom yet. There were little buds on some of the branches, though, getting ready for the warmer months. She then stares in confusion at Vash's other words.]

Eh? Wha--Oh. I-I wasn't encouraging him to do that at all! And Master Aku wouldn't do that anyway. He may seem a little nasty, but he's not all that bad, really...

[Yes, her aura is turning a soft pink, feel free to wtf at this off development.]

[Vash, you just earned fifty praise. (幸) Miyabi's smiling brightly, but it turns into a softer, more affectionate smile after a moment. You're a good brother.]

[Vash is someone who actually believes people can change, but-] But, are you sure you should be meeting him alone already? Or was it Yuber that attacked you that day? [-he’s been betrayed enough in his life to be weary. Although he was asleep for most of that fight (silly Nami) and isn’t sure what really happened.]

Mm...it was both. [There's a long, long pause as she kind of pressed the heel of her palm to her head. Ow, headache.] But I'm cerftain Master Aku wouldn't do it again if I asked him to. He just wants to be respected. [Miyabi speaks fondly at that, and with the utmost faith her words are honest and sincere. ...What. The hell. We're aware that sounds extremely odd, but here's a bit of reassurance. Her next sentence has the icy flame only Miya could conjure up when talking about someone she hates.] Yuber is a devil though.

But don't worry. I'll be fine. I...I have Sumomo with me. If Master Aku--...if things get out of hand, she'll keep me safe. She can actually...cut him. [Miyabi's not going to say that she most likely wouldn't use her sword on Aku regardless. But the assurance is there to hopefully put Vash's mind at ease.]
