What met the warrior eyes was the most beautiful of maiden, a mermaid with long, flowing hair and a voice as pure and smooth as fine silk. Stricken by her looks and graceful voice, the warrior approached as if in a daze. She was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. And from that moment on, as the two sat by the water's edge, sharing tales and songs, it was easy to see that a deep love was forming between the two. [Miyabi sighed again, lidding her eyes and smiling dreamily. She cooed and kicked her legs above her head, waiting a moment before continuing.] It was one day, when he had decided, in private, to somehow marry the rare and radiant beauty, that disaster striked...he had to be sent off overseas, to war.
