[The dragon doesn't really do much more than shift its head a little and give a low rumble. Miyabi could certainly hear someone talking, and, if she could, would have frowned. Can't she take a nice little nap somewhere without being disturbed?]

[Buddy, you are getting on this dragon's nerves right quick. Miyabi grumbles and tries to shift away from the annoyingly insistent nudges. She even gives a bit of a rumbling growl and stares with one eye at the perpetrator.]

The rat god.] I-I'm not supposed to be anything like this! I bet the Malnosso did something to be when they took me away before!

[She huffs again, weary of this stranger. Best be careful there, buddy, this little rat is the god of swords - and his blade can cut through anything that isn't steel or diamond!]

Mm, they are very powerful, but they're also benevolent and beneficial to how the world works. Without them, plants wouldn't grow, wind wouldn't blow, and the sun would never rise... Everything would be overrun with darkness and evil beings. [And that's why her job was so important. To make sure the gods were never forgotten.]

And if you've just arrived a little while ago, uhm...has anyone shown you the guide? It should be in your journal!
