My first field placement (observation/student teaching) assignment is in Detroit. Friends School, first grade.
I will admit that I was a bit worried at first, but I've talked to my cousin (who teaches right down the street from where my school is) and she helped me feel a little better about it.
Its a private school and they follow the quaker beliefs... whatever those are. I should probably look it up.

I'm super excited to be starting there tomorrow morning! I'm just not so excited about the drive with all the traffic during rush hour.
