Part 4
Chinen rests his head on his palms and starts dazing off. He knows what he’s said to Yamada was no more than his childish jealousy. No matter how hard he has tried to be calm, he always fails. It’s disturbed him since yesterday, and now he kinds of regretting the fact that he intentionally read the article over and over again, about Yamada’s kissing scene. He believes in Yamada, and that’s undoubted. But who won’t be jealous knowing that your boyfriend kissed another girl? Moreover, now the girl was rumored to date Yamada.
Chinen releases a sigh. He’s about to daze off again when Yuma suddenly knocks the door.
“Chinen, Yamada bought some cakes for us. I put it on the table in the living room, okay?” Yuma says after Chinen opens the door.
“Thank you Nakayama-san.”
“Then, feel yourself at home okay?” Yuma smiles. Chinen nods and saying thanks again before Yuma walks away from his room.
“Ah, Nakayama-san!” Chinen calls Yuma again. Yuma turns his head to CHinen. “Has Ryosuke slept yet?”
Yuma rolls his eyes. “Hmm… He has entered his room since 30 minutes ago. Maybe he has slept? Want me to call him?”
Chinen shakes his head. “No, thanks. I just want to sneak to the living room without he knows.” Chinen smiles. Yuma laughs hearing Chinen’s answer.
“Okay, okay. If you need something, call me, okay? I’m on my room.” Yuma points his room. Chinen nods.
“Arigatou!”
Yuma walks to his room and closes the door. Maybe he is too tired today and need a proper rest, Chinen thinks. After ensuring that no one is there, Chinen walks to the living room. He surely needs some cakes before sleeping. He looks at the plate in the table, and finds some cheese cakes there. Seeing that, Chinen smiles. Yamada often bought him some after hearing Chinen pronounced cheese cake as ‘chii-zu cake’, and it represented his own nickname.
Chinen walks to the kitchen to take a small plate and spoon, then moves to the living room to sit in the sofa in front of the table. He takes a piece of it.
“Itadakimasu.” He says to himself before take a spoon of the cake to his mouth. “Oishii!” He exclaims. He takes another spoon of cakes, and eats it happily. And calmly, before someone approaches his back.
“Hontou ni oishii right? Chii-zu cake. Makes me want to eat you too, my chii-zu cake.” A sexy whisper behind him makes Chinen choked. He coughs and turns his head with a red face. Yamada smirks while using an arm to embrace him. He surely loves to sneak into Chinen’s back. It reminds him about the routine action Yamada did to him on high school time.
Yamada uses that situation to peck his lips.
“Don’t you suppose to sleep now?” Chinen asks with narrowed eyes.
“Your presence here is more important than my sleep. Moreover, I don’t need any sleep because all this time I slept so that I could dream of you. But now you’re here, and my dream comes true right?” He adds a peck to Chinen’s nose.
Chinen rolls his eyes. “Cheesy.” He chuckles.
“But anyway, I love your jealousy. Thanks for being jealous.” Yamada leans to peck Chinen’s lips once again, but Chinen covers Yamada’s mouth with his palm.
“What do you mean?” Chinen frowns.
“You were jealous because I kissed another person right?”
Just by hearing that, Chinen’s heart clenched. He rolls his eyes again nervously.
“Who said that?”
“You’re so cute ne. I love your high pride.” Yamada ignores Chinen’s question and brushes Chinen’s lips with his.
“I’m going to eat the cake again, so don’t disturb me, Ryosuke.” Chinen palms Yamada’s forehead to push him away. Yamada watches as Chinen eats the cake again and he sighs.
“You just have to be honest, Yuri. You even wrote the name of the girls who’d ever been gossiped with me on your room right?”
This time, Chinen ignores his cake and turns his head at Yamada with his widen eyes. But as he sees Yamada’s smirk, he immediately looks at his cake again and tries his best not to blush. How could Yamada know his secret?
“Whatever. Now leave me alone.” He nervously takes the last piece to his mouth and munches it fast. Yamada stays silent while watching his boyfriend finishes his snack time. Chinen stands up from his seat and walk to the kitchen to wash the plate meanwhile Yamada stays on his position.
After finished, Chinen walks again to his room, ignoring Yamada who’s tailing him. Yamada moves fast. As Chinen steps into his room, he quickly enters the room too, so that Chinen can’t lock him outside. Chinen looks at him with annoyed look.
“What do you want?” Yamada ignores him and lays himself on Chinen’s bed. “If you want to sleep, you have your own room right?”
“I think it’s better to sleep here tonight.” Yamada covers his eyes with the back of his left hand.
“Hey! It’s my room!” Chinen snorts.
“Just let me sleep here tonight, Yuri.”
“No way, and please leave me alone, Ryosuke.”
“I’m too tired to move again. Don’t you know that I didn’t get enough rest for all this time?” Yamada’s voice is weakening. Chinen thinks again, and he realizes Yamada has worked hard for his new movie and no wonder if he finally feels all the tiredness from that after it finished.
“Are you alright?” Chinen starts to feel worry and closes the door. Maybe he can take care of Yamada’s health tonight.
“Maybe ne.” Yamada answers without even looking at Chinen.
“You must have forced yourself that hard for this shooting.” Chinen mumbles.
“Nani?” Yamada asks.
“Nothing. So do you need something now? Medicine maybe?” Chinen walks to his bed and sits on the edge of it. Yamada just shakes his head. “I’ll see whether you got a fever.” Chinen grabs Yamada’s wrist to move it so that he can touch Yamada’s forehead to see his temperature. But suddenly Yamada’s other hand grabs his hand, and Chinen widen his eyes. Yamada moves his hand from his eyes and looks at Chinen. He smirks.
“Catch ya.” He pulls Chinen and makes him fall into his body. He hugs Chinen tightly.
“Bastard! You trapped me!”
“If I didn’t do this, I wouldn’t’ be able to hug you like this.” Yamada tightens his hug.
“You’re lying again. Now let me go!” Chinen struggles.
“Yeah. I lied when said I can’t move again. But I wasn’t lying when said I’m tired.” Yamada replies.
Chinen stops his effort. Yamada isn’t a superman or extraordinary person who won’t be tired after worked that hard. And Chinen knows that Yamada is serious this time. Although he really wants to ask him the reason for not calling him more than a month, he can’t do it now. It’s not the perfect time to complain. They stay in silent for some times.
“Still angry because of that kiss?” Chinen asks.
“No. I’ve talked to Yuma. It’s true that I’m jealous. And until now, I still feel jealous. But I’ll let you help Yuma. Moreover, if public knew that you’re Yuma’s boyfriend, it’d be easier for you to stay here.”
Chinen feels something strike his heart, but he doesn’t know what.
“But I won’t let him touch you. I’ve said that you’re mine.” Yamada adds.
“Didn’t Yuma know before that I’m your boyfriend?” Chinen asks again.
“He has known everything. Of course he knows about that too because I put your photos in my room. But he didn’t tell me about you would come and stay here. It’s because of Aya. Aya forbid him to tell me about it, because she wants me to get a surprise.”
“She’s so kind. Takaki-san and Aya-san were the ones who gave me the chance to go here.” Chinen snuggles himself to Yamada’s chest.
“Haha. Because you’re soon to be their brother in law.” Yamada teases Chinen, and knows that the latter must start blushing now.
“By the way, Aya-san told me to tell you hi from her.” Chinen changes the topic before Yamada makes him blushes even more.
“I’ve talked to her yo. After you locked yourself, I called Aya. She told me everything. Even your whiteboard thing.” Yamada smirks.
“Eh? How can she know about it?” Chinen asks in panic.
“She must have a secret contact with Saaya-nee.” Yamada laughs. Chinen pouts in Yamada’s chest.
“My baka nee-chan.” He groans.
“Ah and Aya has a message for you too.”
“What?” Chinen feels curious.
“She said ‘I want a nephew. But if it were twins, I’d be happier’.” Yamada repeats what Kurida said to him.
And Chinen suddenly feels Yamada’s hug tighten again. He gulps.
“And I’m about to make it true.” Yamada said. Chinen gets his eyes widen. He starts pushing Yamada’s chest.
“Don’t you dare to do something to me, baka!” He struggles. And it gets him no time to release himself from Yamada’s embrace. Yamada must be so weak now. Chinen traps Yamada under him and holds both of Yamada’s wrists. “Listen, baka Ryosuke! You have to get a proper rest now. It’s not even the time to say such that things. You’re tired, deshou?” Chinen stares at him sharply on top of him.
“But now you’re here, and I’ve felt better, Yuri.” Yamada smiles.
Chinen chuckles. He caresses Yamada’s face.
“Don’t force yourself, okay?” Chinen leans in and give Yamada’s lips a kiss. “I don’t want you to force yourself when I’m here.”
Yamada smiles sweetly to his lovely boyfriend and pulls the back of his head to get the chibi’s lips once again. “I never expect you’ll take the initiation to attack me.”
“That’ll happen if you got an aggressive boyfriend.” Chinen stacks his tongue out. Yamada laughs.
“Great answer. Now, let me release all the tiredness.” He catches Chinen’s lips before then breaks the kiss and hugs Chinen again. He closes his eyes.
“Sleep tight, pervert boy.” Chinen whispers.
And that night Yamada has himself relief with Chinen on his embrace. The night becomes a sweet night for both of them. They are really glad to be able to stay together after even didn’t meet for a long time. But one thing they don’t know, that the storm is about to come.
An early morning’s message on Yamada’s phone starts it.
“Director asks you to appear on an event tonight. Come to the agency at 9am. There’s an urgent meeting to explain about that event.”
