This warmth is the one he used to get everyday. He can’t forget this warmth that now has spread to his whole body.
Slowly, Yamada pulls out from the kiss. He looks at Chinen’s eyes, full of softness on his eyes. Seeing Chinen’ shock expression, he just smiles and takes Chinen hand, helps him to sit up. The audiences still gasp and scream, although they can’t see the real kissing scene. The coffin’s side covers it well.
“I thought I won’t be able to meet you again.” He pulls Chinen to his embrace. Chinen finally realizes that they’re still on the stage, and he says his dialogue.
“Beast?” Chinen asks. Yamada nods, still with his chin rested on Chinen’s shoulder.
“You can recognize me.” He says. Then Chinen hugs him back.
“Of course I can. I know it’s you.”
Then the story goes well, as what written on the script. But inside his heart, Chinen is still shock about what happened some minutes ago. How could Yamada enter the stage and played the prince role?
The audiences clasp their hand as the drama ends. Many even give standing applause to the performance. They feel really amused with that performance.
The players are still on the stage, holding hands, and bow to the audience. Including Chinen and Yamada, who’s standing up in the center. Yamada holds Chinen’s hand tight, as if he won’t let him go. Chinen can do nothing but acts as usual, pretend that nothing happened.
As the curtain covers the stage, the players then release each other hands. But Yamada still holds Chinen’s hand, refuses to release it.
“It’s finished. Let go of my hand!” Chinen says coldly to Yamada. Yamada just looks at another direction, pretends to be deaf. Chinen groans. “Let me go!” He sways Yamada’s hand, but Yamada’s grip is too strong for him.
“Who said that you can go now?” Yamada replies, still with his eyes rolling to everywhere.
“I have to change my costume.” Chinen says again. Now he’s angry. What is this boy’s purpose by treating him like that. He has engaged to another girl, and still acts like this? Flirt with another person? Not that Chinen doesn’t like this. He has fallen with Yamada, and be with Yamada is more than enough to him. But in this condition?
“All, please change your costume immediately. We have to do another work after this.” The staff announces. Chinen glares at Yamada.
“You heard it by yourself, right? Now let me go before I get scolded by them.”
Yamada just takes a glance at Chinen before sighs and then releases Chinen’s hand.
“Alright, alright. I’ll wait for you then.” He says. Chinen ignores him and just walks away to the class that used as the dressing room.
“You played great, Chii! This costume really suited you! I even heard many boys shouted your name and argued about who’ll ask you to talk first.” The staff who helps Chinen to change the costume laughs. Chinen smiles.
“Hahaha. Really?”
“Yeah. But after the last part, they became quiet at all.”
“Eh?”
“Because of Yamada senpai. He’s back for you right? And the boys stopped arguing.”
Chinen smiles slightly, and gives no comment.
“Hontou ni kakkoi da ne? If I were you, my heart would explode in the kissing scene, although it wasn’t a real one.” The staff keeps blabbering about Yamada, and how were the people’s reactions after seeing Yamada’s sudden appearance on the stage, while he just hears it with his mouth closed. Wasn’t a real one? He kissed me!
“Thanks.” Chinen says after he finished wearing his own clothes. Then he immediately cleans up the make up on his face. He doesn’t want to meet Yamada, so, he’ll immediately go somewhere else after it.
Chinen opens the dressing room, and finds that Yamada has stood up near the room, and no he’s talking with one senpai. He changed his costume on the next class, and looks like he changed fast. Yamada turns his head as soon as he hears the door opened. His eyes meet Chinen’s eyes.
Chinen gulps, and then he runs away as fast as he can.
“Chii!” Yamada shouts, but Chinen totally ignores him.
Chinen runs fast. He knows if he doesn’t Yamada will catch him easy. He stops running after made sure that Yamada hasn’t appeared yet. He pants, and chooses a corner to rest.
“I’ve never expect that Yamada senpai would appear in the drama.”
Chinen turns his head to where the voice came from. Some girls are talking about Yamada while walking. They can’t see Chinen because Chinen is sitting behind a big pole.
“Yeah. My friend said that he supposed to dance in the outside stage. But somehow he managed to appear in the drama instead.”
“Hmm.. I heard the same from my friend who is one of the staff. Suddenly he said that he wouldn’t perform.”
“Mysterious ne… I start to wonder, did Yamada senpai appear in the drama because of Chinen senpai?”
Chinen choked. But then with that, he knows that the girls are his kouhai.
“Maybe ne. They used to be our golden pair, before suddenly Yamada senpai moved from this school.”
“You’re right. I think it’s his reason. Are they still a couple? They even did kissing scene on the drama.”
“Is it real?”
“Uhm… I think it’s real, since it’s Yamada senpai after all. He always do something fully, right?”
“Kyaaaa!!! You know, I love that scene. Did you see how Yamada senpai treated Chinen senpai? So full of love!!!”
Then Chinen can’t hear anything again because they’ve walked away. He stuns at his place. Yamada skipped his performance to appear on the drama. Was it right? But it’s impossible if Yamada appeared just because he also played there. Yamada doesn’t have any feeling for him, right?
But, Yamada kissed him. How if Kurida finds out about it? Will she kill him? But somehow Chinen can understand the feeling. The feeling when your boyfriend kisses someone else.
Chinen sighs. He can’t stay here without doing anything for the festival. So he stands up and steps away. But suddenly a familiar voice comes.
“Found ya.”
Chinen gasps. Yamada has suddenly stood up behind him. Chinen feels Yamada holds his hand, and turns him to face him.
“Let me go!”
“You’re trying to run away from me right?”
“I don’t know. Let me go!”
Yamada tightens his grip.
“No. I want to talk to you. You’ve been avoiding me all this time. Now I’ve got you. No way I will let you run again.” Yamada stares at Chinen’s eyes. Chinen turns his head to another direction, refuses to look at the latter.
But then Yamada pulls him to follow him.
“Hey! What are you doing?” Chinen protests.
“Bring you somewhere else where we can talk comfortably.”
“But…”
“If you protest again, then I’ll lock your lips with my own lips, HERE.” Yamada emphasizes the word ‘here’. Chinen blushes, and looks at his surroundings. Many students watch them. Some of them start to kyaa-ing, some of them whisper at each other. Chinen knows, it’s not the time for his stubbornness to appear. Or else, another problem will come. So he becomes a good boy and follows Yamada.
As they pass the window that facing the stage in the field, Chinen can hear the crowd. He turns his head and sees what happens down there.
“Ah! Yuto’s performance!” He shouts. It makes Yamada stops and follows Chinen’s gaze.
“So Keito will perform too.” He mumbles.
“I want to watch the performance.” Chinen says. Yamada looks at Chinen.
“But we have to talk.”
“But I have promised to Yuto that I’ll watch his performance!” Chinen insists. He’s serious. It’s the main reason he wants to watch the performance. The second reason is maybe that’s another way to run from Yamada. He still doesn’t want to hear anything from him.
“Okay. But I’ll go along with you too.” Yamada pulls Chinen and drags him to the field.
In front of the stage, many students have gathered to watch their student council president performs with his boyfriend. Both of them are famous as great guitarist and drummer, although they haven’t had their performance together. It’s the first time.
“Make sure you won’t let go of my hand. Or else you’ll be dragged by the crowd to somewhere.” Yamada says, still holds Chinen’s hand tight. Chinen sighs watching his hand on Yamada’s hand. He’s so stubborn. If Yamada holds him that tight, how can he runs away from him?
The crowd increases as Yuto and keito enter the stage. Yuto brings himself his own precious drum sticks, and Keito brings his guitar.
The performance begins. Yamada and Chinen stands up quite near to the stage. Chinen can’t run anywhere. There’s too much students there, and Yamada holds him as if he knows that chinen has an intention to run away from him.
Chinen doesn’t have other choice but watch the performance with Yamada. He watches how much Yuto enjoys the performance. The collaboration is so great. No doubt, Yuto and Kaito have a great skill. They looked like having theit own world up there on the stage.
In the middle of the performance, suddenly a student loses his balance and hits Chinen. It makes Chinen almost falls, and Yamada releases his grip to catch Chinen, prevents him to fall. Chinen thinks, and he uses that situation. He stands up straightly, and pulls himself away from Yamada. Since he has a slim body, it’s easy for him to break through the crowd.
“Oi! ChiI!” Yamada shouts, but since it’s very noisy there, Chinen can just pretend not to hear that, and runs. Yamada tries to chase him, but there’re too many people there, and his body isn’t as slim as Chinen. He has a hard time to get off of the crowd. And when he reaches one side of the field, Chinen has been nowhere to be seen. “That baka…” He groans.
Meanwhile, on the opposite side of Yamada’s spot, Chinen hides himself behind a tree, and watches as Yamada starts to wander around there to search him.
“Gomen ne. I haven’t had the courage to meet you again. I’m afraid you’ll break my heart again for the second time.”

After that, Chinen chose to go home immediately, and send a message to Yuto, that said he couldn’t watch his performance until the end. He also told him through message, what happened there between Yamada and him. He warned Yuto not to mention anything if he met Yamada.
Now that Yamada seems to come back to his old habit, Chinen still can’t believe it. He uses to leave him and said that everything about them was just a game. He was also being cold to CHinen, and chose to spend all the time with his ex-girlfriend. He even proposed Kurida. How can he easily come back to his life like that?
Chinen shakes his head. He tries to ensure himself, that the kiss is just a part of the drama, and it means nothing for Yamada. Chinen doesn’t want to be hurt again. If he expects much from that kiss but in the end Yamada will say the same thing as before, maybe Chinen can’t hold it again. Yamada has succeded invading his heart.
“Yuri!” A knock and his mom’s voice can be heard.
“Yeah mom?”
“Isn’t it your time to go working? Your friend named Tsuyoshi gave you a call, reminded you that you have to work again today.” His mom reminds him.
Chinen slaps his own forehead. Yesterday was the last day of his absence. From today, he has to work again. It’s almost 5pm, and he supposed to be on the café by an hour ago.
“Thanks mom!”
He stands up and immediately takes his bag. He put his shoes on and walks out from the house.
“Ittekimasu!”
“Itterasshai! Kiotsukete ne, Yuri!” His mom replies. Chinen runs fast. He knows, he’s being late for an hour now.
But as he reaches the café, the café looks quiet. Chinen pants in front of the door, and he enters the café. There’s no one inside.
“Tsuyoshi?” Chinen calls Tsuyoshi while peeking through the inside of the opened kitchen, but no one is there. He frowns. But then he realizes that there’s a note in the door.
Chinen, I’m going out somewhere. There’s a message for you. Please turn the screen on, press ‘play’ button, and you’ll know it.

Chinen frowns again. A message? From the owner?
Chinen takes the remote, and turns the screen on. He takes a seat in front of the screen. The he press the ‘play’ button.
As the video appears, Chinen can see Yamada speaks in the video. His eyes widen immediately.
