“Really, Yuto, you don’t have to do this.” Chinen holds Yuto’s sleeve. Yuto turns his head to Chinen.
“I want to see the face of that witch, Chii. Really! And also I want to see how romantic her relationship with Yamada senpai, so I’ll laugh hard at them when they break up later!” Yuto insists.
Chinen looks at Yuto with frustrated face. Suddenly Yuto came to his house right before the time he went to his work place. Chinen told him about everything that happened yesterday to Yuto this morning, and Yuto got his anger peaked.
Honestly, Chinen still doesn’t want to see both Yamada and Kurida. He knows, he’ll feel hurt seeing both of them doing lovey dovey things in front of him. But that doesn’t mean that he can leave his responsibility in the café like that. The owner still needs him to work there, and Chinen is a person who is full of responsibility.
Actually, Chinen feels a bit relieved because Yuto goes along with him on the café. At least he’ll have a friend to talk with later. Maybe it will make him not to put his concentration on Yamada and Kurida.
“But please don’t talk to them something about me or their relationship. I just eavesdropped them, and they didn’t know that I did.” Chinen’s eyes looked sad. Yuto looks at his buddy with pitiful look.
“Don’t worry, Chii.” He pats Chinen’s head.
Then they continue walking to the café. As they enter the café, they just see Tsuyoshi there, in the front part.
“Yuto, wait here, okay? I’ll change into my uniform first.” Chinen says, and Yuto sits down on the chair. Chinen greets Tsuyoshi, then immediately goes to the dressing room to change his clothes. He looks at Yamada’s locker, where he usually puts his bag and clothes. Look like that he hasn’t come yet. Chinen sighs. But then he slaps his own cheeks.
“Remember, Chii, you must avoid him!” Chinen says to himself. Although he has fallen to Yamada, now Yamada has his own girlfriend, and he has no right to interrupt them.
Chinen walks out of the room. Tsuyoshi looks at him and calls him.
“Chii!” Then Chinen walks to Tsuyoshi. “Does your friend come here to search for part time job?” He asks. Chinen shakes his head.
“No. He just wants to go here with me.” Chinen answers. Tsuyoshi sighs.
“Zannen da ne…” Chinen frowns.
“Eh? Why?”
“Actually we need to search for part timer here.” Tsuyoshi says, makes Chinen surprises.
“More part timer? Why?”
“Because Yamada has quit from his part time job here, and we need someone to fill his position.” Tsuyoshi’s explanation makes Chinen shocks.
“He… quitted? When?”
“The owner gave me a call that Yamada has quitted. From the beginning, actually he has said that he’d just work here until yesterday’s date.”
Chinen turns his head at Yuto, who also hears the conversation. Yuto stares at him with shock expression. Chinen then sighs and nods.
“Ah, I see. So I’ll work harder to fill his empty position here, while searching for new part timer.” Chinen smiles. “Ja! Let’s work hard! Yuto, I’ll treat you today. Choose a drink, but no more than 1000 yen, okay?” Chinen claps his hands and looks at Yuto.
Yuto feels surprised seeing Chinen’s sudden cheerful action. He knows, it’s not his real feeling right now. Chinen does that to cover his own sadness. But Yuto has no choice but to let him does that, so that he won’t cry here.
“Okay. But don’t feel regret after I choose, Chii!” Yuto walks closer to Chinen and pinches his cheek. Chinen pouts.
“Hey! I’ve said that you can’t spend my money more than 1000 yen here!” He replies. Yuto laughs.
“Come on, Chii. There are many drinks that I want to try here.” He pokes Chinen’s side. Chinen laughs.
“I’ll just treat you 1000 yen, and you’ll pay the remains by yourself.” Chinen then stuck his tongue out to Yuto.
Yeah, maybe a fake smile can cover sadness for a while.
As Tsuyoshi has said, Yamada didn’t come until the cafe closed. Yuto is still there, accompanies Chinen. Chinen served the guest there with his smile. Yuto can see, it’s not his real smile.
“Let’s go, Yuto!” Chinen says as soon as he comes out from the dressing room. Yuto nods and stands up. “Ja, Tsuyoshi! I’ll leave first!” He waves his hand to Tsuyoshi, who is walking to the dressing room.
As they leave the café, Yuto holds Chinen’s head. Chinen lifts his head up to Yuto.
“Nande, Yuto?” Yuto looks at Chinen, and smiles softly.
“Now we’ve reached the outside of the café, Chii.”
“So?”
“Still hold your tears?” He asks to the point. Chinen stops walking, and looks at Yuto. Then he laughs.
“What do you mean, Yuto? There’s no sad news that I have to cry for it.” He starts walking again. Yuto smiles bitterly.
“You’re strong ne, Chii. I can’t be as calm as you if Keito leaves me.” Yuto says. “You come here so that you can be beside Yamada. But now you still can smile although Yamada isn’t here anymore.” Yuto’s statement stabs Chinen’s heart.
“Hmm.. as long as I’m smiling, everything will be alright, right?” Chinen fakes a smile again. He has too high pride to admit that he wants to cry. All of his hard work is useless. Although he has got the chance to work with Yamada, he can’t get him back. Instead, he has to accept another bitter fact, that there’s already someone owns Yamada. Yuto caresses Chinen’s head.
“But remember, I’ll always be here whenever you need me to support you, okay?”

Maybe Chinen can hold his tears as long as he doesn’t meet Yamada. But how if he accidentally meets him?
Chinen is in his way to get home when suddenly he spots Yamada is standing in front of the bookshop. He seems so serious reading the book.
Chinen’s heartbeat is galloping right now. He confused, he must be happy or sad seeing Yamada there. He wants to meet Yamada, but he doesn’t want to get hurt again. Remember, Yamada is Kurida’s, and she has warned him to stay away from Yamada.
Chinen decides to walk fast. He hopes Yamada won’t see him passing the street. There’s no other street that he can pass to reach his house. Chinen looks down, and starts walking. He doesn’t see his front at all, afraid Yamada will recognize him and calls him. He holds his bag tight, and then passes the bookstore. Chinen finally has passed it, and then after he feels that it is far enough, he walks in the normal speed. He sighs in relief, but still, he can hear doki-doki in his heart.
“Why did you walk that fast, as if you’re chased by someone?”
Chinen jumps a bit hearing that familiar voice behind him. His eyes widen and his heart looks like stop beating for a while. He stops walking, stuns there.
“Hey, you even didn’t realize that I was in the bookstore, right?” Then Chinen can hear a chuckle. The person walks, and stops beside him.
He taps Chinen’s shoulder. Chinen turns his head cautiously to him.
“Ya… mada?”
Yamada frowns.
“Yeah, it is me. Who else?”
Chinen gulps. He rolls his eyes to everywhere, before then stables his heart.
“Haha. Yeah, I didn’t realize before because I’m in rush. Dakara, umm.. ja mata!’ Then Chinen immediately walks in fast speed again. Yamada holds his wrist. “Please, Yamada, I’m in rush!”
“Are you really in rush? Your face shows that you want to run away from me. Did I do something bad, that scare you?” Yamada asks. Yes, you did… hurt my heart… Chinen says in his mind. He can’t look at Yamada.
”Umm… no. I have to go right now. Just it.” Chinen tries to sway Yamada’s hand away, but Yamada insists.
“You lied.” He says. Chinen shakes his head.
“No, I’m not! Now please let go of my hand!” Chinen pleas.
“But you have to accompany me after this. If you say yes, I’ll let go of your hand.” Yamada gives a sly smile. Chinen looks at Yamada with disbelief look.
“What did you say?” Chinen asks him.
“You asked me back instead. Hhh… Let’s go somewhere after this. I want to tell you a good news.”
Chinen freezes. Yamada wants to tell him about his engagement with Kurida, and he calls it good news. Good news for Chinen?
“No. I want to go home.” Chinen says weakly.
“Why? Don’t you want to meet me?” Yamada teases him.
Yes! I want to meet you!
“Don’t you miss me? You know I’ve quitted from the café, right?”
Yes, I freaking miss you!
“Don’t you want to hear good news from me?”
“No! Let me go home!” Chinen sways Yamada’s hand. He looks at Yamada with sharp glare. How can he tease him when he has had Kurida? “Please, I’ve promised that I’ll stay away from you. So, don’t call me again, and I won’t meet you again.” Chinen shouts and immediately runs away from Yamada. He ignores Yamada who is trying to chase him.
Yamada runs, just to see Yuto and Keito block his way.
“Hey, my ex-senpai. How are you now?” Yuto asks with sly smile plastered on his face.
“Yo, Yama-chan!” Keito greets him with his usual tone.
Yamada looks at both of them.
“What do you do here?” He asks.
“Isn’t it me who must ask a question to you, ex-senpai? How can you tease Chii again? Back to your old playboy habits, ne.” Yuto says in sarcastic.
“What do you mean by that?” Yamada frowns.
“You’ve hurt Chii that much. I won’t let you enter his life again.” Yuto states clearly. He looks sharply at Yamada’s eyes.
“Yeah. I want to talk about many things with you, buddy.” Keito adds.
Yamada still looks at both of them with a confused look, before then being dragged somewhere by Yuto and Keito.

After that, Chinen doesn’t meet Yamada again at all. He doesn’t have time for thinking about Yamada and Kurida again, since he’s busy preparing the school festival that will be held on the next week.
Furthermore, suddenly, the committee asked him to play a role on the drama that will be performed on the festival. But what make Chinen felt surprised, he has to play the role as a girl. The drama is a mixed story from classic stories ‘Snow White’ and ‘Beauty and the Beast’.
The plot of the drama is a girl named Snow White, live with her stepmother who is actually a cruel witch. Then she’s being dumped by her stepmother who is trying to kill her, and meets the kind dwarfs who ask her to live with them. But one day on the way to their work place, due to a sudden storm, the dwarfs lose their way, to a scary castle, where a beast is living with his servants. One dwarf who succeeds running away, tells Snow White. Snow White immediately goes to the castle, and asks the beast to release them, and she’s willing to be their substitute for living in that castle. The dwarfs then being sick due to their sadness for being left by Snow White, and can’t do anything to save her. Meanwhile, on the castle, as the day goes on, Snow White knows that the beast is actually very kind and gentle, but having a hard time to control his emotion. They fall in love, but don’t tell each other.
One day, Snow White asks for the beast’s permission to visit the dwarfs. The beast allows her, but she has to go back to him immediately in two days. The Snow White then go to the hut she used to live with the dwarf, and shocked seeing that the dwarfs are sick. She takes care of them. Two days have passed, but their conditions haven’t being better yet. So Snow White decides to take care of them until they are being healthy again. Meanwhile, the witch knows that the snow white is alive, and arranges a plan to kill her. After finding her place through her magic mirror, she disguised as an old woman who sells apples. She goes to the hut, and in the same time the beast is on his way to the hut because he misses Snow White very much. After meet with the Snow White, she offers a poisoned apple to her. As expected from a kind person, snow white buys her apple and eats that. In the same time, the beast approaches the hut, and sees the disguised witch. He can recognize her because she was the one who turned his form into a beast. He wants to warn Snow White, but it’s late. Snow white has eaten the apple, and feels hard to breathe. The witch turns into her true form, and runs away. Before her last breath, Snow White tells the beast that she loves him. Then she died.
The beast then runs after the witch while the dwarfs put Snow White’s body into a beautiful coffin. But the witch accidentally falls into a cliff and dies. Then the beast goes to the hut again, but suddenly, on his way to the hut, a white smoke covers him. As the witch died, and he got a confession of true love, it means that the spell that turned him into a beast disappears. The beast turns into a handsome prince, and so that his castle, turns into its true form. He watches Snow White who has died, and then kisses her before she’s being buried. But then once again a miracle comes. Snow White can live again if she gets a kiss from his true love. Then the prince brings Snow White to his castle, and they live happily ever after.
Chinen has to play the role as Snow White, and Suzuki gets the role as the beast and the prince. Chinen actually felt hesitate when the committee asked him to play that role, because there will be a kissing scene there. But the committee ensured him that the kissing scene will be just a fake one.
So, Chinen has to practice everyday, and he has to stop working until the festival finished. It’s kinda relieving, since Chinen himself wants to do another activity that can makes him forget about Yamada.
Yuto and Keito don’t talk about Yamada again to Chinen, although they’ve talked to Yamada. They’re busy too, because they’ll perform their collaboration song in the festival. Same with Chinen, they have to practice everyday.
They work hard until the festival day comes.

“You look beautiful, Chinen!” The girl who helps Chinen to wear his costume and wig compliments him. Chinen looks really beautiful on his costume and his wig. Really suit him. The other classmates who are there, look at Chinen with amazed look. Chinen is being very adorable.
“Haha. Really? Thanks.” Chinen smiles cutely. Then he feels an arm embraces him.
“You must be responsible if I suddenly fall in love with you for real.” Suzuki teases him. He has worn his costume. A beast costume. Chinen laughs.
“No way you will fall for me. By the way, where’s the prince costume?” Chinen asks.
“Under this beast costume. I have to wear so many costumes. Hhh… Really hot.” Suzuki sighs. Chinen laughs again.
“Be patience, Suzuki. The drama duration is just less an hour. You’ll be totally free as soon as the performance finishes.” He taps Suzuki’s shoulder. “Ah, I’ll go to the toilet first.” Chinen says, and then walks out of the classroom.
Many people look at him as he walks to the toilet, hypnotized by his beautiful appearance. Chinen doesn’t mind them. Then suddenly he hears some girls blabbering about someone who’s familiar.
“Hontou? Yamada senpai will perform later?”
“Yeah! He’ll perform in the stage on the soccer field! I saw it on the paper in the committee room!”
“Huaaaa! I want to see him dancing again!”
“Me too. But I don’t know, whether I should watch his performance or the drama on the hall. He’ll perform in the same time the drama starts.”
“Hmm… Taihen ne. I bet this drama will be interesting, because the script is written by our senpai who has won many awards for the writing.”
“Hhh… So what should we do?”
Chinen turns back after hearing that conversation. He doesn’t want to go to the toilet anymore. It will be better if he stays in the backstage, because maybe he’ll meet Yamada if he keeps wandering everywhere. He has never expected that Yamada will be a guest on this festival. He really wants to watch his performance, but the other side of him reminds him of what Kurida has said before, for keep staying away from Yamada.
Wait… Kurida? If Yamada is here, it means that she’s on the school too. It’ll be much better for Chinen to avoid both of them, and puts all of his concentration into the drama.

The drama has started. Chinen played his role so well, and full of emotions. Many people look at him with an amazed look. Many of them even believe that he’s really a girl. He played the scene perfectly, with girl style.
Chinen makes himself totally getting into the drama, so he can forget about Yamada’s presence on his school.
The drama has reached the scene where the Snow White dies. From that time, all that Chinen has to do is just pretend to sleep, until Suzuki comes and gives him a fake kiss. Of course, their lips won’t be connected for real. Suzuki will give him sign for waking up.
The dwarfs put him on the coffin, and the beast runs after the witch. After the witch died, suddenly the white smoke comes and covers the beast. Then the back part of the stage covered by a wide black cloth, giving time for the beast, for turns into the prince.
Chinen still closes his eyes, waiting for Suzuki to come. Then he hears the dwarfs’ voices, that signing that the prince has come.
“Hey, look! He’s the missing prince!”
“Yeah! He’s not missing anymore?”
“Where did he go all this time?”
The prince ignores them, and just walks closer to Snow White with a sad expression. Chinen knows that Suzuki has stood beside the coffin, and waits for him to give him a sign. Then he feels that Suzuki’s shadow slowly covers his face. When he is about to open his eyes, suddenly he feels someone’s lips on his own lips. Is Suzuki kissing him??? Chinen immediately opens his eyes just to shock by the fact that waits for him.
He sees, instead of Suzuki, the one who’s kissing him right now is Yamada.

“What do you do here?” He asks.
“Isn’t it me who must ask a question to you, ex-senpai? How can you tease Chii again? Back to your old playboy habits, ne.” Yuto says in sarcastic.
“What do you mean by that?” Yamada frowns.
“You’ve hurt Chii that much. I won’t let you enter his life again.” Yuto states clearly. He looks sharply at Yamada’s eyes.
“Yeah. I want to talk about many things with you, buddy.” Keito adds.
Yamada still looks at both of them with a confused look, before then being dragged somewhere by Yuto and Keito.

After that, Chinen doesn’t meet Yamada again at all. He doesn’t have time for thinking about Yamada and Kurida again, since he’s busy preparing the school festival that will be held on the next week.
Furthermore, suddenly, the committee asked him to play a role on the drama that will be performed on the festival. But what make Chinen felt surprised, he has to play the role as a girl. The drama is a mixed story from classic stories ‘Snow White’ and ‘Beauty and the Beast’.
The plot of the drama is a girl named Snow White, live with her stepmother who is actually a cruel witch. Then she’s being dumped by her stepmother who is trying to kill her, and meets the kind dwarfs who ask her to live with them. But one day on the way to their work place, due to a sudden storm, the dwarfs lose their way, to a scary castle, where a beast is living with his servants. One dwarf who succeeds running away, tells Snow White. Snow White immediately goes to the castle, and asks the beast to release them, and she’s willing to be their substitute for living in that castle. The dwarfs then being sick due to their sadness for being left by Snow White, and can’t do anything to save her. Meanwhile, on the castle, as the day goes on, Snow White knows that the beast is actually very kind and gentle, but having a hard time to control his emotion. They fall in love, but don’t tell each other.
One day, Snow White asks for the beast’s permission to visit the dwarfs. The beast allows her, but she has to go back to him immediately in two days. The Snow White then go to the hut she used to live with the dwarf, and shocked seeing that the dwarfs are sick. She takes care of them. Two days have passed, but their conditions haven’t being better yet. So Snow White decides to take care of them until they are being healthy again. Meanwhile, the witch knows that the snow white is alive, and arranges a plan to kill her. After finding her place through her magic mirror, she disguised as an old woman who sells apples. She goes to the hut, and in the same time the beast is on his way to the hut because he misses Snow White very much. After meet with the Snow White, she offers a poisoned apple to her. As expected from a kind person, snow white buys her apple and eats that. In the same time, the beast approaches the hut, and sees the disguised witch. He can recognize her because she was the one who turned his form into a beast. He wants to warn Snow White, but it’s late. Snow white has eaten the apple, and feels hard to breathe. The witch turns into her true form, and runs away. Before her last breath, Snow White tells the beast that she loves him. Then she died.
The beast then runs after the witch while the dwarfs put Snow White’s body into a beautiful coffin. But the witch accidentally falls into a cliff and dies. Then the beast goes to the hut again, but suddenly, on his way to the hut, a white smoke covers him. As the witch died, and he got a confession of true love, it means that the spell that turned him into a beast disappears. The beast turns into a handsome prince, and so that his castle, turns into its true form. He watches Snow White who has died, and then kisses her before she’s being buried. But then once again a miracle comes. Snow White can live again if she gets a kiss from his true love. Then the prince brings Snow White to his castle, and they live happily ever after.
Chinen has to play the role as Snow White, and Suzuki gets the role as the beast and the prince. Chinen actually felt hesitate when the committee asked him to play that role, because there will be a kissing scene there. But the committee ensured him that the kissing scene will be just a fake one.
So, Chinen has to practice everyday, and he has to stop working until the festival finished. It’s kinda relieving, since Chinen himself wants to do another activity that can makes him forget about Yamada.
Yuto and Keito don’t talk about Yamada again to Chinen, although they’ve talked to Yamada. They’re busy too, because they’ll perform their collaboration song in the festival. Same with Chinen, they have to practice everyday.
They work hard until the festival day comes.

“You look beautiful, Chinen!” The girl who helps Chinen to wear his costume and wig compliments him. Chinen looks really beautiful on his costume and his wig. Really suit him. The other classmates who are there, look at Chinen with amazed look. Chinen is being very adorable.
“Haha. Really? Thanks.” Chinen smiles cutely. Then he feels an arm embraces him.
“You must be responsible if I suddenly fall in love with you for real.” Suzuki teases him. He has worn his costume. A beast costume. Chinen laughs.
“No way you will fall for me. By the way, where’s the prince costume?” Chinen asks.
“Under this beast costume. I have to wear so many costumes. Hhh… Really hot.” Suzuki sighs. Chinen laughs again.
“Be patience, Suzuki. The drama duration is just less an hour. You’ll be totally free as soon as the performance finishes.” He taps Suzuki’s shoulder. “Ah, I’ll go to the toilet first.” Chinen says, and then walks out of the classroom.
Many people look at him as he walks to the toilet, hypnotized by his beautiful appearance. Chinen doesn’t mind them. Then suddenly he hears some girls blabbering about someone who’s familiar.
“Hontou? Yamada senpai will perform later?”
“Yeah! He’ll perform in the stage on the soccer field! I saw it on the paper in the committee room!”
“Huaaaa! I want to see him dancing again!”
“Me too. But I don’t know, whether I should watch his performance or the drama on the hall. He’ll perform in the same time the drama starts.”
“Hmm… Taihen ne. I bet this drama will be interesting, because the script is written by our senpai who has won many awards for the writing.”
“Hhh… So what should we do?”
Chinen turns back after hearing that conversation. He doesn’t want to go to the toilet anymore. It will be better if he stays in the backstage, because maybe he’ll meet Yamada if he keeps wandering everywhere. He has never expected that Yamada will be a guest on this festival. He really wants to watch his performance, but the other side of him reminds him of what Kurida has said before, for keep staying away from Yamada.
Wait… Kurida? If Yamada is here, it means that she’s on the school too. It’ll be much better for Chinen to avoid both of them, and puts all of his concentration into the drama.

The drama has started. Chinen played his role so well, and full of emotions. Many people look at him with an amazed look. Many of them even believe that he’s really a girl. He played the scene perfectly, with girl style.
Chinen makes himself totally getting into the drama, so he can forget about Yamada’s presence on his school.
The drama has reached the scene where the Snow White dies. From that time, all that Chinen has to do is just pretend to sleep, until Suzuki comes and gives him a fake kiss. Of course, their lips won’t be connected for real. Suzuki will give him sign for waking up.
The dwarfs put him on the coffin, and the beast runs after the witch. After the witch died, suddenly the white smoke comes and covers the beast. Then the back part of the stage covered by a wide black cloth, giving time for the beast, for turns into the prince.
Chinen still closes his eyes, waiting for Suzuki to come. Then he hears the dwarfs’ voices, that signing that the prince has come.
“Hey, look! He’s the missing prince!”
“Yeah! He’s not missing anymore?”
“Where did he go all this time?”
The prince ignores them, and just walks closer to Snow White with a sad expression. Chinen knows that Suzuki has stood beside the coffin, and waits for him to give him a sign. Then he feels that Suzuki’s shadow slowly covers his face. When he is about to open his eyes, suddenly he feels someone’s lips on his own lips. Is Suzuki kissing him??? Chinen immediately opens his eyes just to shock by the fact that waits for him.
He sees, instead of Suzuki, the one who’s kissing him right now is Yamada.
