“Ryuu?” Chinen blinks after knowing who embraced him. Ryuu smirks behind him. “What are you doing here?” Chinen asks while releasing himself from Ryuu’s embrace.
“I’m here to escort you home.” He says easily. “And by the way, where’s your bodyguard?” He asks. Chinen frowns.
“Bodyguard?”
“Yeah. Your senpai. He always follows you wherever you go, right?” Ryuu turns his head around. Chinen rolls his eyes.
“He’s moved.” Ryuu immediately turns his head at Chinen.
“What?”
“He’s moved to another school.” Chinen repeats again.
“So it means that this time I can escort you home?” Ryuu smirks again. Chinen shakes his head.
“Do you remember what I’ve said before? Why do you be so stubborn?” Chinen sighs heavily.
Flashback
In the café, suddenly Ryuu kisses Chinen. At first Chinen just shocks, but then, he replies Ryuu’s kiss. Actually he still loves Ryuu, but somehow, he feels something weird about his own feelings. He is happy that Ryuu kisses him, but on other side, he feels that it shouldn’t be happen.
When Ryuu starts to lick his lips, Chinen opens his eyes and pushes Ryuu away with bot of his arms.
“It’s wrong. We can’t do that.” Chinen says. Ryuu frowns.
“What’s wrong, Chii? I know that you love me. I’m just too blind that I couldn’t realize it until you moved from our school.” Ryuu holds Chinen’s shoulder.
“It’s all wrong! You are Daiki’s boyfriend. You should go back to him.” Chinen surprises after said that. The words come itself from his mouth without he realizes.
“Chii, I’ve broken up with him. You forget?” Ryuu blinks.
“It’s not what I mean. You still love Daiki, darou? But this time you need someone for you to rely on and comfort you. Am I right, Ryuu?” Chinen stares at Ryuu. Ryuu refuses to look at Chinen.
“I can’t understand…”
“Look at me, Ryuu. You miss Daiki so much, right?” Chinen turns Ryuu’s head to face him. “Actually it’s true that I love you. But it doesn’t mean that I’m really longing for you to reply my love. You love Daiki, and I appreciated that. It’s enough, Ryuu. If you just consider me as a substitute, I’ll hate you for the rest of my life. I’m your friend, Chinen Yuri, and not a substitute of Daiki.” Chinen exclaims clearly.
Ryuu feels guilty. Actually Chinen’s words are right. He has a fight with Daiki, and ended with a conclusion to break up, although he still loves Daiki so much.
“Go… gomen, Chii.” Ryuu says sorry while looking down. Chinen doesn’t say anything, but suddenly Ryuu feels a whack on his head. “Itai!” Ryuu holds his head then looks at smirking Chinen.
“That’s my revenge for using me as a substitute.”
“Chii…” Ryuu looks at Chinen in a disbelief expression. He just can’t thinks, why does Chinen being so kind to him although he has used him to comfort himself.
“So, please make up with Daiki as soon as possible ne. I don’t want you to be horrible.” Chinen smirks while tapping Ryuu’s back.
End of Flashback
Ryuu laughs.
“No, Chii. Calm down. I’m here to inform you that I’ve made up with Daiki yesterday. I said sorry to him, and he gladly forgave me. I was being too egoist for a boyfriend.” Ryuu says and smiles.
“Yokatta ne…” Chinen smiles.
“It’s all because you’ve made me realize all of it. Thanks to you, Chii. So now I’m here to escort you home, and treats you burger as my granted.” Ryuu offers. Chinen blinks.
“Wow! Burger!” Ryuu laughs seeing Chinen’s sparkling eyes when heard the word ‘burger’.
“Dou? Oh, by the way, Daiki is there too. I want to introduce you to him.” Ryuu adds.
At this kind of time, Chinen’s feeling should be torn into pieces. Ryuu, his crush, wants to introduce his precious boyfriend to him. But, it’s different now. Instead of being sad, he’s happy that he’ll meet a boy that Ryuu loves so much. Chinen himself doesn’t know, since when he started to consider Ryuu as his bestfriend.
“Wow! I can meet him?” Chinen asks. Ryuu nods.
“Of course. You’re the one who made me made up with him.” Ryuu smiles. Chinen grins.
“My pleasure to meet him. Okay. Let’s go!” Chinen is on fire now. “Ah, but I can’t take too longer time there. I’m just healed from my fever, so mom forbids me to go home too late today.”
Ryuu nods. “You had a fever?”
“Yeah. Yesterday. Kyou wa mou daijoubu.” Chinen smiles.
Then they walk to the café while talking about many things.

“So, you’ve met the boy named Daiki?” Yuto asks. He went to Chinen’s house to have a sleepover that night. Chinen nods happily.
“Yeah. He’s a very kind boy. He often smiles, and treats me as his own friend although it was the first time we met.”
“Wow, that’s cool! How does he look like?” Yuto asks.
“Hmm.. He’s so cute! He’s just about 5 centimeters taller than me. He has a nice smile, and he has chubby cheeks too, like that Yama…” Chinen stops when realizes that he is about to mention Yamada’s name. He’s dozing off.
“Chii…” Yuto says in pity, and gives Chinen a sad look.
“Yeah, very chubby. Ryuu often pinches his cheeks! Someday I also want to pinch his cheeks. But, I wonder if he gives me permits kanaa…” Chinen tries to talk in happy tone as usual. Yuto sighs.
“I want to meet him too.” He replies with a smile.
“Yeah. Someday you must meet him too. Oh, and by the way, Yuto, he is a dancer. He even invited me to watch his performance on a dance competition this week.” Chinen says happily.
“Dance competition?” Yuto asks.
“Yeah. Our old school will hold a dance competition this Sunday. The event is opened to public. So we can go there, and meet our friends there too, Yuto! I miss them. It will be pleasure to meet them again ne.” Chinen wonders. Yuto thinks of something.
“Hmm. Yeah. I want to meet them too.” Yuto smiles.
“Jaa, then let’s go there. You can invite Okamoto senpai too. Ryuu said, the more people who come, the more the event become merry. You won’t regret coming. Many great dancers will come too.” Chinen says, promoting the event.
“Sure! I’ll talk to him.” Yuto promises.
“Okay. Now let’s sleep. We have to get up early tomorrow.” Chinen says while lying himself down on his bed and pulls the blanket to cover his body. “Oyasumi, Yuttie~”
“Oyasumi.” Yuto stands up to turn off the light before then joins his buddy on the bed.
A dance competition… It means there’s a big possibility that you’ll meet Yamada senpai there, Chii, Yuto thinks before closes his eyes.
