~Flashback~

“Please Aya-san, we appreciate this, really. It’s your choice to write these, but please, stop harassing us with it. If you write more, please keep it to yourself,” said Yamada. Keito backed him up, “Aya-san, we have already told you to stop sending us letters if it includes any more of what you write, it’s making us very uncomfortable,”

“But-but…” she stuttered. She couldn’t believe that the very people who influenced her into this were denying her of it. “But… I saw it myself! You love to do that kind of stuff!”

“It’s not like that! We just wanted you to leave!!!” Chinen blurted out. All eyes focused on him as he fumed. Aya had tears forming in her eyes, so Takaki tried to break the awkward silence.

“Well, not exactly. You just caught us in a bad mood, Aya-chan,”

She stared at them with tear-soaked eyes and vowed silently.

“You won’t get away with this.”

~End Flashback~

Yamada woke up from his dream as he sat under the counter of the coffee shop. Takaki sat beside him, hugging his knees. Above them, a bell rang and Kato Kan rushed over to entertain the customer. A few minutes later after serving the order, Hasshi came out from the back room and joined Kato. They both sat down in front of the gloomy pair.

“How’s the weather there?” Hasshi asked Yamada who pinched his cheeks hard. “Ow! That hurt, Yama-chan!”

“That’s coz it’s not funny, Hasshi-kun,” said Kato, laughing at both of them. “Give them a break, they’ve been running all day,”

Hasshi looked at him, then at Takaki. He caressed the latter’s cheeks before muttering an apology. But Takaki and Yamada still wore solemn looks. Hasshi frowned and thought deeply. After a while, he whispered to Kato. The latter nodded and turned to Yamada.

“Hey Yama-chan, wanna see how we make our strawberry milkshakes so special?” said Kato as he stood up, extending an arm towards Yamada. The younger boy’s eyes lit up at the mention of his favorite fruit. Putting his hand on Kato’s, he stood up and followed him to the kitchen. Hasshi took Yamada’s vacated position and put his arms around Takaki. He closed his eyes and placed his head on the other’s shoulder. He whispered, “Don’t worry Yuuyan, They’ll be okay,”

Takaki closed his eyes, hoping that Hasshi’s words were true.
