Hello everyone, I'll be in IL again right after Christmas. I always go to the winter wonder festival at navy pier with my family every year and its lots of fun. There are rides, and ice skating rink, make your own cookie station, and other forms of entertainment. Its all indoors which is good since I know how cold it gets. I'm most likely going with my family on Tuesday the 28th we might go the 29th though but most likely the 28th. I don't have a set meeting time yet but it opens at 10am. I still have yet to meet an IL lolitas and was thinking this would be a good opportunity.

http://www.winterwonderfest.com/admission.html Public Transportation:
El: Red Line to Grand. Bus: 29, 66, 120, 121, 124. FREE Trolley service from Grand Red Line to and from Navy Pier along Grand Avenue and Illinois Street.
Its free admission but to go on the rides and such its $15 for a wrist band and $18 for a wrist band that includes the rides and ice skating rink.
From my experience previous year Id recommend eating before you come and also bringing something else to eat for later. Also the ice rink only has hockey skates so if your a figure skater like me make sure to bring you're own skates that you're used to. And if you're going to ice skate don't wear any prints that run when wet. Cause we're all gonna fall on the ice at some point it just always happens.
Can't wait to meet you guys :)
