I didn't fully realize how noisy things were around here until the house settled back down into some sort of semblance of normalcy. Yes, the MIL has gone home. I won't say that I'm happy about it, because I do like her, but 3 weeks...that's long enough. Molly is a hell of a lot happier too. I am too, because DD doesn't have to sleep on an air mattress on the floor anymore! This makes me happy too, lol! ;) It's been a whirlwind of activity. Last weekend, we went to the Florida Aquarium and a farmer's market in downtown St. Pete. That farmer's market was with teh awesome! I'm going to go back there soon!! It's really kind of cool to walk around, listen to some cheesy cover band, look at all the people and buy some really cool stuff. It was also really interesting to see some of the people, varying from really hip, cool people to utter hippies to a really tall African-American guy smoking fish in full tuxedo, top hat, tails, the whole nine yards. He must have been almost 7' tall with the hat on, lol! Anyway, Clare went home on Wednesday, DD and I took her to the airport, had lunch with her, hugged her and sent her off. She's home safely now so all is well. We are supposed to meet back up in England in April, but I am not sure if this is going to go off at all. The account is now in the red thanks to all the spending I did while Clare was here. Thank God the rent is paid and the lights are on, but the rest of it is going to be a nail-biter until DD gets paid again. I'm still looking for employment, with this economy, God knows what I'll find, but this lack of working is killing me. I had to sell the circus tickets I got back in November just to have some funds for the next two weeks. UGHHHH!!!! *Bangs head on the desk* Reality sucks!!!!
