After a night of very pleasant sleep, I bring to you a somewhat brief FANREPORT! :)
Getting there
Our ride (we called a service) came at 4:26PM, and my mom, my sister, my friend Magarita, and myself piled onto the car and head out for SF! We got there around 5:17PM, and saw the ridiculous line (that wasn't that ridiculous yet), and decided to wait in line before it got too long. My mom even wanted us to go to Japantown and eat first. Like. No. :D
The Line
We waited and waited. There was a nice lady who came down offering Lindt chocolates to everyone. :D Whoever you are, thank you so much! I even saved one for my sister (who was with my mom buying dinner). It was freezing cold-SF weather is ridiculous...
The Dinner
My mom went to a nearby Japanese restaurant and bought dinner for my friend and me. We had tempura udon (hot soup!), tuna tartare, a sweet 16 roll, and also fried tofu. It was very good! Too bad I forgot to take pictures of it...
More of the Line
We waited some more, and there were a couple security guards coming down the line handing out wristbands (for the over 21 bar), and I got a black "X" on my hand because I can't get alcoholic drinks. :) After that the line moved up a little bit and everyone got excited...But we stopped. And we were standing next to large bags of ice. As if the SF weather wasn't cold enough for us. Hahaha!
8:07PM
The line started moving!!! For real this time. Eventually when we got to the front, we had a boy's line and a girl's line. The girl's line need to have our bags open. So I had to throw my bottled water away-safety precautions. So~ We went in! I went to the section for will call and showed them my passport (because I won two free tickets), and went to the center of the building.
The Regency Ballroom
When you are inside, you can go straight forward-where the actual stage is. If you go left, there's the merchandise stand. I made a beeline for the table, and quickly purchased a pink VAMPS tshirt (BTW I recently found out I look good in pink.) and a red tote bag for my sister. I didn't have that much cash with me, okay? I wish I could have bought her a shirt. If you ever see this, I'm sorry! :( I feel really bad that you didn't get to get one.
Moving on, we went to the stage, and there was already a mob there. D: Sadface. But then, we were only in the third row, so it wasn't that bad. It's just that all three of us were really short, so even being in the third row was difficult. We stood there waiting for a long time, but we didn't want to lose our place in the crowd, so we stayed there.
The SHOW!
Then the show started~ Turns out I stood right in front of K.A.Z.!!! There was a fat guy in front of me that was SUPER TALL and I just about hate him now. LOL. No generosity! If you're out there, watch out for short people too, okay? I can't remember the setlist, but I'm pretty sure it's the same as everywhere else. My memory is really bad. Everyone really rocked out, and there was massive pushing and shoving. But, it's okay. I killed them all in my dreams. I don't like being pushed-especially since I'm so small.
The MC!!!
So HYDE did an MC halfway through, and he talked about how he liked the clam chowder at Fisherman's Warf, the steep roads of SF, and how he bought lots of new clothes because it was so cold in SF. HYDE's English is really good, and he's really funny. Hahaha. It was great. :) My friend started crying when she saw him because she's been waiting her entire life to see him. I'm glad I asked her to come with me.
HYDE, Ju-ken and K.A.Z.
It was super. They were super. SUPER. They look so hot in person...I wanted to faint from their hotness. HYDE was wearing a grey tie-dye type shirt that went halfway down his thighs. His hair was like a poodle perm-but he pulled it off. I was too busy looking at his face to notice the rest, but I'm pretty sure it was skinny or straight leg jeans with boots. :) I don't remember too clearly what Ju-ken and K.A.Z. were wearing-mostly because their faces are amazing, and we weren't allowed to take pictures. D: DANG.
Encore
SF officially fails at calling for an encore. We clapped, and it got faster and faster and faster so that it would die out. So they didn't come out for a long time. FAIL. Haha, but eventually they did, and we made the encore a good one. Everyone just had a great time and rocked out with head banging and stuff. Trying to stay safe though.
After the show
Right as they were leaving, they all threw picks and stuff out into the audience. HYDE threw a water bottle, but the tall guy in front of me caught it and I was sad. :( However, my sister caught K.A.Z.'s Screamin' Silence guitar pick and gave it to me. :D It made me really really happy! haahha. It was great. Hahah. I was screaming so loudly. I had already lost part of my hearing from the concert, but whatever. Hahah. We went to the merch stand again, and my friend bought her green VAMPS shirt. Black was sold out by then, but she didn't want that one so it was all good.
On the way home
We waited outside for our car to come, and met up with my mom. She had been waiting at the sushi bar the entire time for us, because I only had two free tickets. She was the chaperone that was lonely. Thanks mom, for taking us to SF. :) The car came, we fell asleep, and arrived home. My friend Magarita and I took a picture with our VAMPS shirts. We looked good man. Hahah! Then she went home. It was a great, super amazing day...
Pictures will be uploaded soon!!! Stay tuned~!!!
