Why, hello again....
Wahhh so this month has been WAY too crazy with deadlines and more deadlines between applications and schoolwork....and it won't end til next Wed! And then I have exams! But, seriously, all the hard stuff will be done next week before exams- not too worried about the 2 I do have to take. Still, this week is gonna be a terror. In fact, last week was a terror and I had the whole week "off" from school! Grrrr, breaks should not be a break so that we can study. I'm kinda sad I spent my last Thanksgiving at home that way. =/ I'll have to make it up over Winter break and get some hardcore family and fun time!
But one this at a time I guess. Gotta make it through this week. Not only do I have tons of schoolwork this week I have sorority stuff essentially suckign away two of my days this weekend...so fun. I mean, Open House and Recruitment are fun in their own way but, as a senior, it's gotten kind of old and I'm worried about stuff so much more important than all my sorority stuff that I really just could do without it. But maybe it'll take my mind off all the big stuff for awhile? We'll seeeeee....I have had fun in the past. I'm just tired right now and it's not falling in a convenient time for me. Such is the life of the very busy Kathy, I guess. =P
Tomorrow I'm sending in my JET application- I'm SOOOOO nervous!!! =( I hope it gets there safely...........and that I did everything right for the silly, super anal people that will read every jot and tittle and scrutinize my application for the very least little mistake so as to have an excuses to throw it out....ahhh I just made myself more scared!! Please, please dont't throw it out................. \(_ _)\ I humbly bow down to your wonderful JET-ness Mr. or Ms. JET application reviewer who will kindly keep my application and ask me back for an interview....
Yes, yes, I really want to be a JET ALT. Obvious?
At least today is a nice day weather-wise; it's made me happy when everything else is stressing me out. YAY! I hope it stays warm for awhile, uncharacteristic though such weather is in little ole Gvegas at this time of year. =P
PS- my Japanese professor corrected my ENGLISH spelling on a word in an essay test I took last month and just got back from him....wow, it's sad that my spelling is slipping BEFORE I even have a chance to go to Japan.....I blame it on the fact that I was rushing to finish the test...I swear I can spell....I just can't type (hence, all the horrible typos in this journal that I am ALWAYS too lazy to fix- it's MY journal)!
