Front-End Software Engineers (3 in Palo Alto, 1 in Dulles) to build simple, fast, intuitive and engaging UI. Desired candidates have a minimum of 3 years of solid, hands-on experience as a front-end engineer developing highly scalable, consumer-facing Web applications. AJAX, HTML and CSS are a must, along with the passion and motivation to simply redefine the way people share and connect.
Additional requirements:
Experience developing with Web Services and APIs
Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks is a plus
Knowledge of Server side technologies (C++/Java) is also a plus
BS in Computer Science or equivalent education preferred

Senior Web Developer, AOL Labs (Palo Alto) bring innovation and change, with the freedom to ideate, build and execute prototypes, products and interfaces. This is a unique opportunity to change the face of AOL web applications and products. The ideal candidate would be familiar with numerous JS frameworks and have the ability to adjust to each. He/she would aptly be able to manipulate data from API’s from a number of AOL products as well as well as other open social sources.

2+ years of work experience with SQL or MySQL
Basic understanding of OOP principles
Use PHP, Ruby or Python to implement business logic on server end
