I am officially the worst dance rotation teacher in the history of camp ramah in wisconsin. I've been sick and recently I've just lost the will to teach. Today I actually encouraged kids to ditch my class. And then I got in trouble when they went to art and the art director was like "why can't they be in dance right now?" and I was like "duh....I don't know". I just don't care at all if they learn the stupid kikar dances or not. What does it matter? They'll screw them up later anyway. On an upside, my cabin left for it's camping trip and all the girls ran and gave me big hugs and were like "we're gonna miss you soooo much miriam!!!" and it felt awesome. Hopefully in the future they'll look back on their shoafim summer and be like, "hey remember miriam? she was the coolest darned live-in ever." Also, I'm happy because today I am going to orientation, which means my parents will be picking me up in about four hours and then I'll have a full two and a half days away from kikar dancing. Hopefully I'll be able to fit in a hair cut sometime within those two and a half days, as my hair has become extremely unruly as of the recent disgusting humid weather.
In other news, I was sick last night and couldn't go to sleep so I finally finished harry potter and was duly impressed by the twists. I'll probably reread it later. Hey, question: Was Nick Huelster interviewed by Entertainment Weekly? Another question (phrased as a comment): I wonder if I need a sleeping bag for orientation. It seems highly unlikely that UW madison would supply linens, but I really don't want to have to pack up my sleeping bag.
UUUUCH I have to go back and teach again in ten minutes so I'm gonna see if I can scrounge myself up some hot chocolate before then.
