Garlic Cheddar Biscuits!!
Okay, now that I have grabbed everyone's attention, how's it going?
Well, Valentine's Day has come and gone, but I actually did something this year -- and no, I still have no girlfriend, so shaddap! :P
Anyway, I was invited by my brother-in-law-to-be, Brian, to head down to the Red Lobster in Perry. My family and his were there as he and my sister finally made a formality of their "engagement." Good for Anne. Brian is a really cool dude, and he loves Anne, treats her with the respect she deserves, and he loves my nieces too. I wish them all of the luck in the world.
Well, I hadn't been to Red Lobster in almost twenty years. The seafood was pretty good, but I absolutely, totally, and in all other ways forgot how damn tasty their garlic cheddar biscuits they bring out before the meal were. (Props to "The Princess Bride" for the sudden river of adverbs in that last sentence... hehe!!) Now I'm on a mission: I have got to find a way to replicate that recipe. I bet it's obviously secretly guarded by that mega-chain, but they don't look like they'll be too hard to make. Stay tuned!
All in all, V-Day was okay. I had a weird night at work, though...Too many applicants with really weird risks for our company to take onto our books, and I'm SO glad that tonight is my last night before the weekend.
