I love Ed Brubaker's writing. Daredevil, Detective Comics, Criminal, Gotham Central (And I challenge anyone to find a better Bat or cop book than that). All of it. And I'm seriously considering dropping a book I've been reading since 1991.
Okay, except when Chuck Austen was writing it.
Completely unrelated-- Today's already been craptacular. Even worse when you factor in the complete lack of sleep I got last night.
