A guy at work gave me THE ULTIMATES novel, AGAINST ALL ENEMIES. I'm about halfway through and I have to say it's not terrible. It's better than the ridiculously shitty comic it's based on, at least. It does remind me how poorly treated the Ultimate version of Hank Pym is treated. Which, in turn, reminds me how disrespected the 616 version is in some fan circles. Yes, he hit Jan. Once. In battle. For which he immediately felt remorse. If I recall correctly, he requested the Avengers court-martial him for his actions. To get back to my original point, Hank Pym (the "real" 616 version, that is) went toe-to-toe with Ultron. And won. Ultron, for christ's sake. I wouldn't piss him off.
