(no subject)
I've been attempting to write more lately. I go through spells where I write constantly, jotting ideas and plots and dialogue down every chance I get. I've read that writers-- aspiring ones, especially-- should write every chance they get, regardless of inspiration.
I wish I could do that.
I've never been one to sit and just write. Not anything meaningful, at least. True, I tend to have ideas, lines of dialogue, random things run through my head at work, but I don't sit and write as I know I should.
Lately, though...
I've been trying to write a movie script. Not something to sell. No. I'm not that unrealistic. This is something that I want to actually film myself. I could never write something on my own and give up control. I'm strange like that, I guess. I'd never be able to watch something I wrote on the screen with lines changed, scenes cut.
Of course, every time I shot something in my broadcasting classes, I had to direct and star in whatever creative venture I undertook, if possible.
This time, I'd be carrying an entire film.
Christ.
