Improvements! =)
Okay! My internship is starting to get better! Two of my projects for the summer sound really interesting... I will be designing two resource packets. One will be for international and local activists on organizing and recruiting, as well as printed materials from Amnesty establishing basic definitions, causes, concerns, etc. The other guide will be for high school and college organizations on including LGBT Human Rights in their framework (like the QAC would probably love it).
Um, I finally decided to go out on a limb. I've signed up for the 20Something listserv to find out information about gay men's activities for 20-something people new to the city. I also applied for volunteer positions at the LGBT Center and the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission. Yep, I'm about to be over-committed yet again. But when else will I have this experience?
James contacted me today... well, tried to, at least. My phone is going in the trash tomorrow; I need a new one. But anyway, I'm gonna hang out with some Syracuse and NYU brothers tomorrow. =) Should be fun.
