Puck had gotten out of the Perk with his pants intact, thank God or...Moses or whatever, and he'd actually run back to the dorms. It helped burn off the excess energy -- though, not really, so that was why he'd immediately opted for a cold shower (it was possibly his second today.)
And eventually, when he'd worked at least some of this out of his system, he wandered over to Quinn's room. And as he knocked, he immediately started calling up baseball statistics. It was going to be necessary, because he didn't want to embarrass himself.
"Hey," Quinn said, opening the door and stepping back to let Puck in. He got an appreciative once-over. "I'm glad it's you. I was scared I'd have to be nice to somebody."
"You can be nice to me," he replied, lifting a brow with a smirk.
So much for not embarrassing himself.
"I mean, um, hi," he amended, actually looking a little sheepish about that and leaning in to kiss her. On the cheek. Because goddammit he was being good.
Oh, and now she was sitting on the bed. The bed. And he was just going to go sit next to her, because that was totally normal and not going to lead to mauling her or anything. He had self-control. Okay? He did.
"It was fine," he replied, his leg starting to jiggle a little with nervous energy as soon as he sat down. "Um, I worked out and went for a run and got coffee after class. Nothing too exciting. Ran into Rebecca at the Perk. Then I came back and I'm...here now. How was sorority? Did you guys all make out? Because that's what I'd do if I ran sorority."
Sadly, that wasn't sex pollen talking. That was just Puck.
"It definitely isn't," Puck said, somewhere between shell-shocked at the memory of Rebecca and distracted by the imagery of a pillow fight. He'd met the sorority girls, and that was a totally happy little thing for him to think about. He did idly wind an arm up Quinn's back to rub it lightly, trailing his fingers up against her neck. Because he could. He was allowed. He was being affectionate, and not like, ruining their anniversary by immediately pouncing on her.
And he was trying to think about baseball a bit, still, too.
"So tell me more about this pillow fight. Was it in your underwear?"
"It's not a bad kind of jumpiness, I think," Puck replied, trailing his fingers through her hair. "I mean, mostly. Right now it's not. Mostly I can't really...focus on a lot." By that he meant 'things other than the image of jello and whipped cream and underwear and Quinn and other hot girls.
"I know," Quinn sighed. "I spent all morning at the coffee shop and didn't get my math done. Everything is a distraction. If this lasts much longer I'll have to become a nun to get away from temptation."
Though -- from the way her fingers brushed against Puck's biceps -- the nun thing seemed to be pretty far off.
"But it'd be awesome!" he decided. "Though it probably wouldn't help with the whole 'this week is distracting' thing that...made you become a nun in the first place."
"Exactly," Quinn groaned, and flopped back on her bed. "No pervy nuns -- or sexy rabbis -- until Halloween. And it's still probably against my religion."
"It's diverse," Puck argued, and don't ask where he learned a word that big. He flopped back beside her, digging into his pocket for a moment. "So, do you wanna keep crushing my sexy thoughts, or do you want your anniversary present?" he asked, smiling over at her.
And eventually, when he'd worked at least some of this out of his system, he wandered over to Quinn's room. And as he knocked, he immediately started calling up baseball statistics. It was going to be necessary, because he didn't want to embarrass himself.

She went over to sit on her bed. "So, good day today? I had rehearsal and sorority."

She scrunched up her face, moving to lean against Puck a little.
"And ugh, Rebecca. I don't think her bitch thing is an act."

Good luck with that.

Before he asked.
"It was kind of ... helpful. You know, getting energy out, all of that. Kenzi says everybody's been jumpy this week."

What? She started it.
