No matter how it might look to a casual observer who peeked in through the open door, Quinn Fabray definitely was not running scared from Fandom

Claudia was still limping slightly when she came back to the room after classes, but otherwise seemed to be in decent spirits. Mostly because she was steadfastly refusing to think much about the events of the weekend.
She paused in the doorway, frowning. "Going on vacation?"
"If Ohio's a vacation," Quinn said easily. She was holding up a skirt, trying to decide if it should make the trip with her. "It's time for cheerleading tryouts at my old school, and I'm going to go sit in on them."
Wasn't that everybody's idea of a fun thing to do off the island?
"You're going home . . . to watch cheerleading tryouts." Really, it was kind of amazing how little she and Quinn actually had in common. Though she supposed it could be kind of entertaining. "That's cool. You gonna provide color commentary?"
"Something like that," Quinn said. (Well, someone had to help Miss Sylvester appraise the girls trying to make the squad. Santana sometimes got too distracted by sexting to be appropriately catty.) "If I transfer back for senior year, I'll need to know who's already on the squad."
"And," she added, "it'll be nice to see Finn."
In truth, Quinn wasn't missing Finn nearly as much as she thought she probably should. She wasn't sure what to make of that.
K-Mart was wandering the halls because A: she was bored and B: she was bored. Oh, and C: Her cat was having one of those spaz attacks on a pair of shoes and she didn't feel like extricating her shoes so she could go anywhere.
She couldn't help peeking in open doors as she walked by them, which explained why she was looking into Quinn's room.
"Leaving?" K-Mart asked curiously. She didn't actually know Quinn, but she knew Quinn had been a cheerleader at her old school, which meant she'd probably do cheerleading here, which meant there was some kind of solidarity to be had.
Look, K-Mart attached herself randomly to people sometimes. It just happened.

Well. Not that actively unfriendly.

She glanced back at the girl. "You're in one of my classes. I don't know your name."
Of course she assumed everyone knew hers. (Well, no, she didn't really, but she was tired of feeling anonymous.)
