I couldn't possibly sum my Peach Bowl experience in one word, but if I had to that word would be:
AMAZING.
Going to Peachbowl was probably one of the most benefitial, prestigic events it has been my pleasure to have participated in. I also realized how extremely lucky our band is, and how much we take that for granted. We have two of the most amazing directors a band could ask for, and the most dedicated, supportive band chaperones in the world, and 220 immediate family members at all times. And we take ALL of that for granted. After I saw some of these bands and what they had---compared to us, I pitied them. We strut in with our matching visors and our peachbowl shirts (they were kinda gay, but it's the thought that counts), and our brand new uniforms, amazing staff that travelled on their break to be with us. It's just amazing how things come together for the sake of a band, and bunch of highschool kids. These people do so much for us, and I wish they knew how sorry I was for taking it for granted. I couldn't thank them enough.
Anwyays, on with the mushy stuff. Wow, do I feel displaced to be home. I miss that good ole' city life. Big towers, crowded city, poor bums, rush hour...well at leats there is stuff to do there. The weather there was really nice too, it's really gross here. All muggy and wet, gross. Sorry Paulina, I like this idea oodles.

That my friends was the worst feeling in the world. For 5 days, it felt like all we did was go. And then it was all over. Man, when I walked off that bus did I feel like a million bucks but I just wanted to go back and do it agian. Yeah, while I was there I bitched and complained about how stupid it was but now that it's over I'm bored and restless. And I just want to go back. I love our band, our family. <3
