There is a good reason why Kyuhyun prevented Sungmin from joining SJM 3 years ago. Call him evil but he would rather be several miles away from his lover with hearts longing for each other than be inches from each other but Min’s attention is focused on the maknae who is not him. Kyuhyun deliberately left Sungmin out of SJM because he knew that when Min joined them, the older’s attention would be all out focused on Henry. No this is not the romantic type of attention, but more of the admiration type of affection.
It’s quite known to the whole fandom that Sungmin is such a sucker for cute and pink stuff, and unfortunately, Henry was one of those cute things. When Henry was introduced to Super Junior as part of the violin interlude for their Don’t Don single, Sungmin immediately glomped on the maknae and started pinching those white fluffy cheeks.
“You are so cute!!!”
Sungmin endlessly muttered and it took the strength of Kangin to pull him off of the terrified Canadian. Ryeowook quickly extended a hand and introduced himself with a pleasant and sweet smile.
“Hello! I’m Ryeowook”

When SJM returns to Korea, Sungmin would be all bouncy and welcome them back with enthusiasm and excitement, but he’ll be very sweet and endearing to the Canadian maknae that makes Kyuhyun really jealous, he released his anger on Ryeowook.

Sungmin screamed and they were surprised to hear someone answered.
“tell me what?”
They all froze and Henry not wanting to cause another pair into rocks made a run for it.
“Hey Henry.. your original pairing is ZhouRy!”
Zhou Mi ran after him.
“what the.. HenHae is pretty popular!! “
Donghae made a run for it..”
“no way.. WonRy!!”
“HenMin!!”
“Kyury!!! Evil maknaes will dominate!!”
They all run after Henry who dashed into the kitchen of the other dorm.
“Hyung.. hide me!”
“huh?!”
Ryeowook was confused when the younger cuddled closer to him and not long after he heard 6 voices screaming his boyfriend’s name.
“HENRY!!!!!!”
The six of them stopped a few feet from the kitchen entrance, staring at Henry hiding behind Ryeowook and the older has his hands on his waist.
“What do you want from my Boyfriend?”
The six remained frozen as they digest the words muttered..
“HenWook is real?”
All of them asked and both Ryeowook and Henry nodded in unison.
“You too look cute!!”
The six shouted as they run towards the two and huddled together for a group hug.
“Wookie.. can you share Henry once in a while?”
Sungmin asked and Ryeowook quickly muttered.
“as long as Henry declares to the whole wide world that he loves only me.”
Ryeowook smiled with a soft blush and Henry can’t help but kiss those adorable cheeks. Henry smiled before placing a kiss on those rosy red cheeks before addressing his hyungs.

And he made a dash for it, the hyungs were determined to catche the mochi and make him delcre to the world how proud he is to love Ryeowook; what they didin’t know, Henry has been declaring it since forever:
