Eunhae wedding
The clouds were covering the sun when Donghae looked out the window on the eve of her wedding. It has been forecasted that rain pour will occur in Mokpo during the weekends. This was a very alarming for the bride to be. Donghae sulked as she stares out at the dark clouds.
Hyukjae: relaxe Hae, it’ll be ok.
Donghae merely nodded and Hyukjae gently pulled her away from the window and the two walked hand in hand towards the dining table.
Ryeowook: oh, you’re here, let’s all eat.
Ryeowook smiled as he place the last plate of food on the table. He then left the two as Hyukjae assisted Donghae to her seat.
Donghae: do you think it’ll rain tomorrow?
Donghae asked and Hyukjae was a little unsure with the answer to give, but he smiled nonetheless.
Hyukjae: It’ll be ok, you should eat, you need strength for tomorrow.
The rest had their dinner and their parents just arrived for the wedding tomorrow. They were happy and everyone sang and ate and drank for the happy couple. But Donghae was restless and she can’t find sleep. At around 3am, the sounds of rolling thunder and pouring rain was heard. Donghae looked outside the window and tears just started falling: it was doomed, her wedding wouldn’t commence in this kind of weather.
Everyone was up by 6am and they were all ddiscussing a backup plan when Donghae entered the living room. She smiled at the rest but she can’t fool everyone: her eyes were red and puffy.
Donghae: don’t think too much, the wedding won’t happen anyway.
Donghae returned to her room and Hyukjae followed, trying to comfort the bride.
Hyukjae: Hae, it’ll be ok, the wedding will commence. We can do a backup plan.
Donghae: You don’t understand, I only get to have one wedding and my dream wedding is ruined.
Hyukjae: is the wedding more important than spending your life with me.
Donghae: a wedding is important to any bride, it’s one of our dreams… how can I choose between you and my wedding? How can you make me choose? You don’t love me!
Donghae wept and Hyukjae panicked.
Hyukjae: Of course I love, no one else can compare to you.
Hyukjae embraced her bride-to-be but Donghae broke off.
Donghae: no, you’re just saying that.. leave me.. you don’t love me anyways..
Hyukjae left Donghae in her room and talked to the people downstairs. He announced that Donghae was upset and llooks ike the wedding is really off. He returned to his own room and by the sobs heard upstairs, the two were both crying.
Tiff: There maybe something we can do about this.
Siwon: let’s pray first, He will help us…
Kibum kissed her husband and they all bowed their head to pray for a better day, to save the wedding, to save the relationship. The rest finished preparations and decorated the living room instead and others cooked food for the reception. And time flies by so fast, it was already 1pm and the wedding will start in a mere 2 hours. And the heavens were moved by the pure love that their friends have such that the rain stopped and sun greeted everyone. It was perfect.
Tiff and the rest spare no time as they cleaned the patio and arranged everything until it was perfect. Sungmin walked to Donghae and handed her the pale blue and white wedding dress Tiff had chosen for her.
Sungmin: Look Hae, the sun is greeting you on your wedding day, smile and get ready, you’ll get married today!.
Sungmin wiped the tears off of Donghae’s face and started arranging her hair. Heechulie came to do her makeup and Donghae had no time to react. When everything was done, she looked at herself in the mirror. Her long hair was up in a loose bun with a tiara on top of her head. She was wearing a pale blue, plunging asymmetrical flowy dress, the front is shorter than the back such that it looked like she had a trail, and a white tube top underneath such that she won’t expose herself. She smiled at the two friends that helped her and whispered something in their ears, the two smiled.
And just like what the routine calls, a walk down the aisle, this time it was wooden planks that led to the sea, lined with blue and white lilies and roses. Donghae held a sky blue and white bouquet; Kibum ordered genuine sky blue roses from the Japanese Biotechs.
Hyukjae was stunned to see his bride walking down the aisle with her father. He was so emotional that he can’t fight the tears from falling, Kangin handed him a handkerchief.
Kangin: C’mon man, don’t ruin this moment. It’s your wedding day.
Hyukjae: I know, but I can’t help it. I’ll be spending forever with her.
And so Mr. Lee handed his daughter to Hyukjae with a smile on his face and trust in his heart. He knew that sending her daughter off is painful, but he is gaining another son. When he agreed on Kangin’s wedding, he was emotional but Donghae is the daughter he loved, the closest to him, he has to let go.
And the ceremony was just brilliant. The heavens bestowed rainbows to paint the sky with colors. The sun shone brightly but the wind blew softly: it wasn’t too hot nor too windy, it was just perfect. The heavy rain that came that morning, cooled the earth and tamed the waves which made the ceremony serene and intimate: it was just a shower of blessings the couple would be receiving. And aas the two kissed as man and wife, two dolphins leapt out from the sea and shrieked in a low but soft tone: the heavens, earth and seas are in one in congratulating the two as they become one.
Donghae: this is so perfect..
Hyukjae: you deserve your dream wedding..
Donghae: you deserve all my love Hyukkie..
Hyukjae: I’m giving you all my love Hae.
At the reception that followed, it was just a small dinner and everyone took a seat on a large rectangular table with the newlywed at one side and at the center of every attention. A toast was raised by their siblings who were so proud of them.
Kangin: a toast to my sister, who have been very sweet to all. You dreamt of spending your wedding day by the sea which you love and they in turn are happy to bear witness to your marriage. Let this day go on with the history of your love and may you enjoy each other’s company.
Leeteuk: may both of you keep the flames of true love burning in your heart and start a family with love, God, trust and Friendship as the center. Good luck to your new life together and we hope to seeyourr lovely babies soon.
Leeteuk winked at Donghae who just blushed. Everyone applauded and gave a toast for the couple. Dognhae kissed her husband and when everyone settled down, Donghae stood up.
Donghae: There is this small matter that I want to address.
Everyone was silent as they wait for Donghae to go on.
Donghae: Actually, I wanted to hyukkie first but I guess this is the proper time to say this.
Hyukjae was very nervous about what Donghae would actually say.
Donghae: I’m pregnant.. I just got off from my doctor before the wedding and they confirmed that I was indeed three months pregnant.
Hyukjae stood up with mouth hanging open.
Hyukjae: Hae.. are you.. I’m going.. to be a father?
Donghae nodded and smiled at her husband. Hyukjae was now crying as he embraced his wife.
Hyukjae: I’m so happy right now.. we’ll have our own family..
Just as everyone applauded and cheered for the couple, Kibum ran towards the sink and threw up, Siwon was right behind her.
Siwon: are you ok sweetie?
Kibum nodded slightly and cleaned herself before facing the rest. She smiled meekly and the rest were concerned with her health, she had leakemmia before, something wrong may have happened.
Kibum: I’m ok, I don’t want to ruin this moment for Donghae and Hyukjae but.
There was silence and Kibum was so nervous. Siwon held her hand and smiled at her.
Kibum: well, Siwon and I.. well.. how can I put it..
The stares were piercing through her and Siwon held her hands tighter.
Kibum: I’m also here months pregnant.
All mouths hang open and Donghae run towards the friend and embraced her. Siwon let go of Kibum’s hand and Kinbum held Donghae tighter.
Donghae: I’m so happy for you..
Kibum: I’m happy for you as well..
Donghae: It’s great don’t you think?
Kibum: Yes..
Everyone applauded and cheered for the two pregnant ladies still radiant and happy. Hyukjae approached Siwon.
Hyukjae: some fate, first the wedding
Siwon: I know, now the pregnancy.
Just then, Kangin patted the backs of the two
Kangin: Good luck with the mood swings and atrocious appetites. And if you need help changing the diapers, I’ll teach you how.
Just then, Heechulie was jealous of the two dongsaeng.
Heechulie: why can’t I have a baby now?
Hangeng wrapped his arm around her waist and kissed her cheeks.
Hangeng: Do you want it so badly?
Heechulie nodded and Hangeng smiled.
Hangeng: then let’s go on our second honeymoon.
Heechul smiled and kissed the husband.
