Summary: Want Kyuhyun, Kangin or Hangeng as date for the Christmas Ball? Line up and audition! This is your chance don’t miss it!
A/N: this is my first fluff [I think!], and definitely my first Qmi. I know I should be choosing one pair but well since it’s Christmas and I was a bit inspired, I added the other two.. and ninja pairings too..[forgive me!]. I hope my santee will like this… I was just too disoriented at the end… and if this is fail! Can you find the heart to forgive me ^_^
It was Christmas and everybody can only think of the Grand Ball
Girls were dying to have a date for the ball and they are eying three guys in particular: The Chinese Prince Hangeng, the absolute Charm KangIn and the Irresistible Snobbish Game Kyu.
These three are very much available for the annual Grand Ball which ha been the talk of the whole school.. To make this year even special the three agreed to take each a lucky fanclub member but will have to battle it out at the Christmas Idol: Grand Ball Date Search 09.
The president and Officers had organized the event and had distributed the flyers and invites for the event. There were simple rules to follow:
As the three girls read the fliers their eyes widened and smiles were on their faces!
“Teuki unni.. Chance!”
“you’re right chullie”
“chullie unni, Teukie unni.. what are you planning to do?”
“mimi.. you know.. this is our chance to be their girlfriends..”
“no! I’m not gonna humiliate myself in front of Kuai xian!”

“so do you have a plan?”
Somehow, they were not the only one that is coming up with plans on how to attack this opportunity..

“KangIn-sshi you do have a plan?”

After ten hours of practicing Gee for the nth time, Mimi and Teukie’s legs are about to fall off.. But it wasn’t really enough for Heechul.
“C’mon girls!”
The two was too tired but can’t resist or reject Heechul.. She’s the brat princess.. oh Cinderella with an attitude.. and so they danced again and again from 2pm to 2am..
“now we can take a break!”
The other two were just too damn exhausted that they slept then and there.. Heechul didn’t even mind the two sleeping inside the dance studio of her house mansion for a princess like her.. she can’t be bothered with these two.. she needs a plan to get Hangeng.. She can’t let those no good fangirls get her prince.. She can’t! She is Cinderella and she gets what she wants.. and she wants Hangeng.
Hangeng stirred in his sleep as chills run down his spine..
“someone must be thinking of me!”

Heechul instructed the two to wear a sailor girl outfit for Zhou mi, a Victoria’s secret angel’s wings and matching silk halter cocktail dress for Teukie and finally she wore a Chinese cheongsam, Heechul Style..
“why am I wearing wings? It’s not Halloween..”
“and Why am I wearing this short Skirt!!!”
“Kangin loves fallen angel Teuk and kyuhyun loves girls with really long and pretty legs.. I’m helping you guys here so just be thankful!”
And so they can’t argue with the princess.
The place was crowded with fangirls from all levels.. There were the cheerleaders that stare at the three and even chanted

Heechul is close to strangling the head cheerleader Sungmin if Teukie and Mimi hadn’t stop her. Then the nerds.. even the NERDS and the GEEKS were there to participate..

“Chulie unni, stop being a brat and just focus on your performance..” Teukie reprimanded
“Hankyung specifically stated in his interview that he prefers nice and well-mannered girls.” Zhou Mi added

“It’s a nice winter day for this year’s Christmas Idol: Grand Ball Date Search 09, Hi I’m Hyukjae and I’ll be your MC for today!”
“You said it Hyukkie.. Today’s competition is an extraordinary one, since our contestants are vying for the coveted Grand Ball dates of our three campus crushes, I’m Donghae and I’ll also be you MC.”
“So Hae, Have you found your date for the ball?”
“hmm.. not really.. no one’s asking me out yet”
“then it’s settled.. Can you be my date?”
“Why ask me in the middle of the competition? But yes..”
“great.. I’ll pick you up at 7.. moving on, our judges today are first, The Chinese Prince Hangeng”
“I’ll be ready by then Hyukkie.. Don’t be late! Our second judge is none other than the Absolute Charm, Kangin”
“And our last judge is none other than the Self Proclaimed Warcraft Master, GameKyu, Kyuhyun!”
“And so let’s start the competition!”

Just like any Talent competition there were hits and misses. There were those who dances gracefully like a well choreographed group while others fail at the difficulty of the steps.. Some sang beautifully while others fail to reach the high notes.. One exceptional talent was Ryeowook who amazed the judges with her amazing voice but then..
“I’m withdrawing the competition, Yesung oppa asked me out already.. thank you”
“oh… what a waste.. she would be perfect for Kyuhyun.. their voices blended perfectly..”
“But moving on.. Our next contestant are the School Cheerleaders headed by Sungmin..”
And so the girls lined up, they were nine.. wow so many.. Teukie had a bad feeling about it and nervously glanced at Heechul. Then the music started playing.. oh no!

Heechul’s face turned red with anger.. THIS IS HER SONG AND NO ONE CAN DANCE IT EXCEPT HER!!!! She was now furious and will go over board and beat the hell out of Sungmin when Mimi and Teukie stopped her..

“Stop it Chullie! We just have to do better..”
“we are not going to be second.. I came to win not to loose over those brats..”

After an etermity, it was finally over.. They ended with Sungmin Winking at the three judges who seem to enjoy the performance.
“wow… what a rendition of the dance.. it’s new.. it’s hip.. It’s cool!”
“oh stop it you were just focusing on their legs!”
“am not!”
“and so we come to the last contestants for today, let’s welcome my very close friends Zhou Mi, Leeteuk and Heechul”
At the mention of the names, there were smiles on the judges faces and glitters in their eyes…
“I told you they’ll participate!”
“You were a little worried a while ago!”
“am not”
The word battle ended when the three girls stepped into the stage. Kyuhyun set his eyes on the beautiful legs of Mimi emphasized by her short skirt and sailor outfit, Kangin stared at his Fallen Angel, a smile was on his face. The Chinese Prince was all smiles at his Princess.

And so they danced Gee just like what they practiced, Sungmin was a bit irritated at their performance and she pouted. Kyuhyun can’t keep his eyes off of Mimi,

The two agreed by nodding their heads.. Although their eyes were still fixed on the girls..
And so they continue to dance almost perfectly when Teukie’s Halter straps started loosening and finally giving in.. Kangin was quick enough to cover her with his coat such that she hasn’t exposed herself.. The music stopped, Teukie ran and cried backstage at the humiliation. Heechul ran out the door out of frustration and Hangeng followed suit. Zhou Mi was left standing on the stage, tears welling up while Sungmin stood there delighted with the series of unfortunate events, She’ll be Kyuhyun’s date for sure.
When Zhou mi mastered the courage to take a step, Chills ran down her spine as Kyuhyun started Singing while walking towards her direction..

Leeteuk stopped crying the moment she heard Kangin speak

Like a wave of coincidence the three campus crushes blurted out at the same time, as if a choreographed marching band.
“can you be my girlfriend?”
And like a choreographed choir, the three girls replied instinctively with a “yes!”
And you all know what happens next..
As each of them stare so passionately at each other, one pair of hands grabbed the girls’ waists and pulled them closer, while the other flung around their partner’s neck, they closed their eyes and savor the taste of each others’ lips in the sweetest first kiss of their lives..
“kuai xian? I thought this is a search for a date for the Christmas Ball?” Mimi asked as they walk out of the room, hand in hand
