This is true love we're makin'
Sooo life...yeah. It's been pretty crazy busy as usual. I may or may not be going to Otakon, not sure yet. In the past month I was without a computer, but I finally got it all pieced back together and running very nicely. My new parts are great, it's so nice to have a decent amount of RAM. I also went a bit crazy during the Steam sale, since I can finally run games without my computer crashing. I got a second copy of L4D2, so now me and Ais can play together, although my mic died, I need to grab a new one before we try playing with others online again.
We were supposed to attend Evolution 2K10 last week in Vegas with Ais's brother, but he dropped out due to financial reasons. Which kinda made us drop out, and we had to again watch it from the live steam. It was crazy awesome though the final Street Fighter matches made me stand up in my chair screaming. It was all on my twitter. It made me really hyped for next year. I'm still on the fence about actually trying to pick up the game. I really want to get good at a fighting game again, I haven't been since Soul Calibur 1 or Tekken Tag. I really don't want to be the token girlfriend at tournaments either. "I'm just here to support my BF!" But I don't know if I have the know how or skills to play with some of these guys. I can't devote 8 hours a day to Street Fighter training. We'll see.
In other news, I got one of my buds Nic to do a commission of Chiko for me. I've liked his art for awhile, so I couldn't help it. This is what he did for me, I love it!
I've also developed a love for Doronjo from Yatterman because of Tasunoko vs Capcom so I painted her.
I'm going to do a massive overhaul soon. Redesign my site, LJ, DA, everything. Phew I think that's a good summary, sorry if I rambled. It's harder to update LJ when I say things as they come all on Twitter.
Oh and I have a poll up on my DA, it would mean alot to me if anyone and everyone voted in it. http://chicochan.deviantart.com/journal/poll/ I know I don't post a lot of information about my original series, but I want change that. I want to see what people want to see most so I can st art right away. Thanks!
