Intuitive Reason

People confuse me.

Give them logic, give them reason, and what do you recieve in return? Ridicule. Hate. Anger.

Why are people willing to believe what they can't see, yet when something tangible and backed with concrete evidence is presented to them, they choose to scorn it?

The great minds of time always seem to have gone against the beliefs of the human population.

How much of what we believe is truth?

Think about it, and you realize half of the things you believe have no proof supporting them.

But that is the marvel of the human spirit, isn't it? We can believe in something we have never seen. We have faith beyond any other creature on the planet.

This could be our downfall, though. We have so much faith in that which we can't see that we forget the here and now.

When I think about it, I feel alone. Yes, we are the smartest animals on the planet. On the PLANET. There is a whole universe out there. Lightyears and lightyears of unexplored space. What else is out there? Is it reasonable to believe that Earth, with all her natural resources and life-giving soil, is the only planet in the UNIVERSE that can support life? No, my friends, it isn't.

We need to realize we are a short chapter in the History of the Earth. One day, the human race will become extinct. We will survive for a while, but we will meet our end one day. The Earth is not ours. We are the Earth's. If we really do mess up the Earth bad enough to cause our extinction, life will go on. Not human life, but life nonetheless. That is the beauty of evolution.

Yes, evolution. It is real. It is happening around us.

So, my friends, just think about everything. Think beyond today, tommorrow, or even next week. Just ponder the natural world. You will find much satisfaction in your intuitive reason.
