End of the week!
It's been a while since I last updated, nearly a week, but I haven't really had time since then (apart from Tuesday and Wednesday) to do so anyway :O Makes a change from that year of doing nothing.
On Tuesday I didn't have anything since it was the first week, so I went and got all my hair chopped off, so now I'm almost bald, and won't need a haircut again for a while. It helps not to have long hair when playing football, it just gets in the way. That's mostly why I had it done, plus I didn't really like it anyway. Apart from that I just farted around in my room and suchlike, thus no update since there was nothing to talk about! Wednesday was just 9 hours of shitey work, nothing fun there either.
Thursday was good though, the classes were not bad (had all 3, Social Anthropology and Linguistics were already, still not really into either yet, but Italian was a farce really, was still just another hour and a half of finding out whether or not you had gotten into the class, which I had, thankfully), but it was nighttime that was better. At 8pm I popped along to the Meadow Bar, and went upstairs for the first social meeting doodah for the INDIE SOCIETY. It was pretty good, just talked to a few people about music, and one person about football, got a couple of mix CDs (one I liked more than the other), and gave the one I made to someone. Next time I'll take about 4 or 5, so I can swap with more than one person. I had to leave early though (at about 10) to get home. Stupid trains/buses :( Just ended up sleeping when I got home as well, pretty much.
Friday was slightly irritating, got up at half 7, spent all that money getting to the uni, sat down in the lecture theatre, only to be told that the projector was fucked and the lecture was cancelled. Uncool! Then there was work, also boring. Saturday was just work and nowt else as well.
Today was depressing. Went to see Hibs play Rangers, and we were rotten! Got thrashed 3-0, and played absolutely shite into the bargain. Then just came home and tried to play In The Aeroplane Over The Sea (which went quite well, until I tried to sing at the same time), and now here I am.
