stereogum has a couple streams from the upcoming indie rawk tribute to "rubber soul". they've got ted leo doing "i'm looking through you" and sufjan stevens doing "what goes on". i'm pretty into that.
last night bookpeople played vulcan video. my best heckle this time:
"shoeless joe is way better than field of dreams!!"
i was the only fan for most of the game so i had to be extra obnoxious, which involved me climbing on top of the dugout and screaming as loudly as possible. then i couldn't get down, which is actually pretty much the story of my life. um... later jeff and i went to starseeds, which isn't really a dive anymore. i guess that's good, but it made me a little bit sad to see it so clean and pleasant and relatively quiet. but my breakfast taco was delicious.
tonight: south san gabriel.
in general: i am crazed and busy and i want to die. i mean, not really. i'm just really happy that it's the weekend, okay?
oh yeah and: holy crap, ico = amazers!
