Seriously, I know this whole fic revolves around them, but I love the Mer/Lexie friendship here. Meredith almost plays the mom to Lexie at times, but Lexie does the same where Mer needs her. It beautifully written.

I love Mark/Lexie (despite how ridiculous they relationship has been written this past season) and I was a little worried about how their reunion would go. But this is perfect. It makes complete sense. Who else would he call to talk to about Mrs. Shepherd? I like that he thinks of her first, and not Callie, even though things are certainly tense between them.
