The expression on his face when he saw his wife holding Zola belonged to a private world Lexie didn't belong in. She wasn't sure what it meant that she'd been invited to join."

I love moments with Lexie/Mer and especially Lexie/Mer/Der. I like how timid and unsure Lexie gets about truly believing Meredith likes her every now and then. I especially love how excited she gets when she's invited into her sister's "world" and you wrote this perfectly. Also, loved the slight mention of Burke.
