Second Saturday in a row that it was supposed to be "beautiful" and I wake up to complete clouds. Damn you Weather Channel!!
Last night was fun. We stopped at happy hour at Mulcahy's for a little while which was a blast from the past bc I hadn't been there in like a year. I miss that place... even though a loooot of people there looked like they were about 18. But I guess we started going there when we were like 19 so that's entirely possible. :\
After a few drinks (
Chris may have had more than a few), me,
Lesley, Chris, Brian,
Laura,
Lauren and John went over to the perpetually-crowded Chili's for 2fers and dinner.
Then we headed over to see Superman. I've never been a fan of the comic-book type movies (I still haven't seen any of the X-Men) and the only one I actually enjoyed was Batman Returns thanks to Christian Bale. But I hadn't been to the movies in a while so I was ok with it... until it started.
I don't think I've ever been more bored at a movie - it should have ended like 6 different times! If not for the hotness of Superman I would have gouged my eyes out by the end. But I was entertained by the ghetto people in the back of the theater who brought like a newborn to a 10:45 movie and cried through half of it. Out of the 6 of us who went, Lesley was the only one who liked it - but one of her favorite movies is Dude Where's My Car so she obviously has great taste. :)
I haven't decided on plans for today yet since I'm not about to go to the beach like I'd planned when it's this cloudy... rah!
