Leaving on Thursday without my laptop, which means no internet, and from now until then I will be busy with packing and last-minute planning of things. So calling a hiatus for a week! I will probably be back July fourth in time for mistletoe. This applies to Machika, Leo, and Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler.

I am okay with this conclusion.
I pimped THE NAME OF THE WIND by Patrick Rothfuss on Cindy's meme a little while back and still fully support this book forever because I love it to death. I can't remember a book that I read before this or I would pimp a different one. I guess The Night Angel trilogy by Brent Weeks is pretty badass too. (The first book is called The Way of Shadows.) It's about this orphan kid (AREN'T THEY ALL) who wants out of the gang life and apprentices to the world's greatest assassin. The trilogy is about him growing up and learning to be an assassin and also having his other life as a noble's adopted son and he has dere for the noble's whole family and is bros with this other duke's son and is in love with this one girl but he can't tell her because it will blow is cover. There is also magic little orbs involved and they are like power rangers because they are different colors and I think they talk. It's set in this fantasy setting that is a blur of European and Oriental mixed together; it's pretty interesting. My only qualm with it would be that is has a lot of characters and I feel like it could have focused more on Kylar (the main character) as opposed to telling us what the other characters were up to the whole time. But it still made for an interesting read!

Uhmmm. If Alice hypothetically went somewhere else after Camp--like, she COULDN'T go back home--where would she go/who would she go with?

THIS IS ONLY IF SHE COULDN'T GO HOME. Because, at this point, it would take...I can't think of anything that would make her not go home willingly. Even Elliot AND Cinna working together could not make that happen :|
Alice would probably uhhhhhhhhh...I want to say go with Machika, but I don't actually think she would. I DON'T WANT TO BE THE THIRD -- wait, are we counting Yuca? -- FOURTH WHEEL, MAN. You have this awesome tricycle thing and a fourth wheel would just throw you off.
Sooooo. um. She would try to go to a normal-ish world, I think? Like Momiji's.
This question is hard because Alice would never want to.

...Alice would be a third wheel if she went with Machika. ;; And Rain would get couched forever if Alice went with them so TECHNICALLY I have no idea what that would be, but probably not a third wheel. She could always pull a TRC and go world-hopping with Elliot and Leo. 8D If Alice and Leo don’t kill each other within the first…day, I imagine it would go swimmingly. I have in no way already planned this out.

AS FOR YOUR QUESTION. Compared to the other two, Kurt is actually having the most difficulties with Camp HAHAHA. I attribute this to the fact that he is not codependent and needs more than his Most Important Person to make a place work for him. But…Rogue being here actually helps! Since if he were to be codependent for anyone, it would be his sister. And he’s glad she’s not alone in Camp because that would be all kinds of horrible.
He had a hilariously good introduction to Camp, all things considered. There are other teenly superheroes that he likes hanging out with, and even cooler, X-men from the future. Or alternate universe, WHATEVER, DETAILS. So it reminds him of home and he’s cool with that. But…he still has his family/friends back home! He misses them! I am still up in the air on whether or not he broke up with his girlfriend. Evo is painfully vague on their relationship after her parents tell them to break up. I might headcanon that they broke up just so he can shamelessly flirt in Camp, which is terrible of me.
One of the awesome things about Kurt, though, is that he is a trooper. He can deal with all the crappy things and try to look on the bright side! He sees Camp as a bigger, more dysfunctional version of the Institute. Without sugar. He’s not exactly housewife material, but he and the other kids at the Institute take turns cooking and cleaning to make sure everything stays usable. After seeing what a disaster Camp is, he kind of wants to implement these things! It’s something that would keep him busy and not missing everyone from home as much as he does.
The weird things about Camp are things he has seen and quickly dismissed. He is a blue fuzzy mutant, he has no right to judge others for how they look. Besides, ZEX made him muffins! The zombies are kind of weird and retro, though.
...That was too long. Kurt has complicated feelings on Camp, apparently. Or I just like tangents.
IS ALICE EVER GOING TO TELL MACHIKA WHY SHE IS SO UPSET ABOUT CANON UPDATING?
She is going to make faces at you until you do.

DEFINITELY MAYBE.
Alice has steeled herself to deal with her update on her own. The only reason Elliot knows, is because he caught her off guard on Day 1 of Update Pain. SHE WAS KIND OF LOSING IT. She is now...stable-ish. Meaning she is like a mine in that she is stable until someone steps on her.
Back on the subject, she does not plan on telling Machika or anyone else, for that matter. NOT CINNA NOT CINDY NO ONE. AT ALL. EVER. She thinks it is her problem and she is going to fix it...well, not fix it, but Deal With It. And she will do it by herself because that is the Right Thing To Do.
If Machika keeps making faces and catches her at the right time, then Machika will find out. Maybe. This is a Big Thing for Alice. KEEP TRYING, BLOND ONE.
TELL ME about these post-camp TRC, world-hopping adventures you do not have planned?
Also, what is that icon of Kurt, and why is it so beautiful?

There were lengthy paragraphs of speculation on what Elliot is going to do after Camp, since he's dead. And Leo is going with him of course. And since Alice’s life sucks she can come too. But Leo does not want Alice to come. “She’ll have to be rescued all of the time. We can’t have her slowing us down.” And Elliot makes faces at him and he’s like “WE DON'T NEED TO BRING OUR OWN PRINCESS, ELLIOT. YOU CAN RESCUE THEM ON THE WAY and then move on.” Meanwhile Alice is just “Omg i can look after myself” :| and she will spend the whole time arguing that she doesn’t need to be rescued.
And somehow they shall acquire a magical world-hopping device and jump through all of the worlds doing Knightly things because Elliot said so. “WE’RE GOING TO BE LIKE THE HOLY KNIGHT AND HIS SERVANT, LEO, LET’S GO.” And they shall find a gigantic library and princesses in towers and knights to emulate. And Elliot will be prohibited from dying.
They shall go to Ponyland and experience the Power of Friendship and lots of other exciting worlds! But mostly Ponyland, because after living in Pandora Hearts world they need a place with some rainbows and unicorns. There were probably other worlds in this discussion but I only remember Ponyland.
And then one time Elliot will be the one who is kidnapped instead of Alice (because of course Alice gets kidnapped) and Leo and Alice will have to team up to rescue him. SHENANIGANS ENSUE.
Each world they leave behind also has some sort of property damage done to it.
I can’t take credit for even half of this.

but I still want the character. I just. Everytime I start writing the app again, I think of the awesome sauce app that was destroyed. /CONFLICT

Aaand I am definitely content with my three. They have enough diversity that I can throw them out into the wilds of Camp and have fun with it! I feel like I have a good balance going between all of them, especially when I threw out the Nerf Gun post and Machika did not hog all of the CR. There are times when I feel overwhelmed by having all 3 of them, but most of the time it is surprisingly manageable.
Of course, I am easily topped so someone could always top me into apping a character. I feel like part of what motivated me to app in all of mine is that I knew there would be someone in Camp excited to see them! And all of the characters I would consider right now don't have any cast in Camp, I think. ...Honestly, I will watch/read something and go "I want to app that character" and put it down on a Word Doc that's on my computer. :x It is a sizable list. But I will never app them everrrr until someone tops me into it/holds my hand while I talk myself into it.
Give me examples of canons that you would app from! Manga/books/movies/anime/live action/cartoons/etc. are all applicable.

Out of the list I would also enjoy seeing Harry Potter, Durarara!!, Teen Titans, Young Justice, Baccano!, Sherlock, and KHR. Just because those are the canons I am most familiar with or would like to see in Camp. But I have no idea who you would app in any of them. I shall now create a list based off of wild assumptions.

THAT'S A HARD ONE because I would pick Kvothe from The Name of the Wind just because he's awesome. But it's Kvothe and I honestly don't know how anyone would be able to play that much awesome anyways.
Sooo possibly Syaoran from TRC just because he is the cutest little puppy of a character. I have no idea if he even fits any of my pings but he is the most adorable and yet badass character. But I would not app him because...I'm not entirely sure, but I feel like I wouldn't be able to do him justice if I played him. And I haven't read the manga in a while so I would not have a proper grasp of his personality.

Season 3 takes a shift when the mutants are revealed and the Institute is outed as a place for mutants. They have to deal with still going to public high school and having basically everyone hate them. Fun times for teenagers who have enough problems to deal with! Season 4 is a joke and you should not bother watching it. And then it got canceled or something ridiculous which is sad and terrible because it is an amazing show.
