Leaving on Thursday without my laptop, which means no internet, and from now until then I will be busy with packing and last-minute planning of things. So calling a hiatus for a week! I will probably be back July fourth in time for mistletoe. This applies to Machika, Leo, and Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler.

IT IS THE COOLEST X-MEN CANON EVER. Basically it takes most of the X-men cast and shrinks them in the wash until they are tiny teenagers who have teenage issues. The first two seasons are about them gathering up X-Men and they like to equate being a mutant with the awkward stages of puberty or something. So it's a good show for kids. They battle the Brotherhood who are equally derpy teenage mutants and kind of fail at being villains. Also they keep their powers hidden because the world does not know of mutantkind yet! And they go to regular high school on top of doing things at the Institute and there are fun shenanigans with them saving the world and stuff. The backstories of the Evo cast are rather close to their comic counterparts, so I can headcanon things for Kurt from the comics which is cool.

Season 3 takes a shift when the mutants are revealed and the Institute is outed as a place for mutants. They have to deal with still going to public high school and having basically everyone hate them. Fun times for teenagers who have enough problems to deal with! Season 4 is a joke and you should not bother watching it. And then it got canceled or something ridiculous which is sad and terrible because it is an amazing show.
