I was cleaning my room, when I had a sudden inspiration for a poem. Here it is:
Love Defined
Love is nothing but an emotion
So very strong and so very pure
When shared with another
A thousand years and more it will last
Love is nothing, but a force
Which brings the strong down
With enough power to destroy mountains
Mighty enough to halt time
Love is nothing, but a triumph
A glorious goal to have acheived
The joining of two hearts
The melding of two souls
Love is forever and always
Eternal and sincere
A flame that outshines everything else
And that will outlive all life on Earth
I'll scream it to the mountain tops
To all places, high and low
My love for you and my existence are one
My love for you will never bend, nor break.
I hope you like it.
