Bailey Update... And Some Other Random Stuff
So, we are into November. Wow, it will be 2011 before we know it...
Okay so... what's new? Firstly, Bailey. (For the first part of the story see my previous post). So we took him back to the vets last Wednesday. They sedated him. Long story short... the vet looked at his tooth, even though it wasn't bad, he took it out (which he said was hard to get out because it was a healthy tooth) because he wanted to see if there was any infection or something more sinister under it. Attached to the tooth was a massive root, which wasn't bad either, but it was right in the middle of the swelling. There was no infection in the gum or the bone (which may have been cleared up by the antibiotics?), so he went on to check the bone itself, as he was worried about a bone tumour. He said he couldn't say 100% for sure that it was not a bone tumour, because he didn't want to tell us that it wasn't and then it turns out to be, but he said everything points to it NOT being that as the bone is healthy and solid (a bone which has a tumour goes all sponge-y apparently). So really he didn't know what caused it. He said it could have been the root of the tooth, but he didn't know for sure.
We just need to forever keep an eye on it, and if it gets bigger, to take him back right away. He said the bump (which has gone down a lot) may never go completely away. *sighs* So yeah, we are none the wiser, really. Which does nothing for my stress levels, lol. And all I seem to get is a hefty bill (Antibiotics, a dental, an x-ray etc etc. It's going to cost me a packet). Bailey has nearly finished his second course of antibiotics, and we have to take him back on Monday. Like I said, none of this has seems to affect him, really. He was a little sore right at the start, before his first course of antibiotics, and then when he had his tooth out, but none of this has stopped him eating or anything. So, yeah... not really sure what we can do about it. *sighs* I swear, these Dogs will be the death of me!
In other news... I have a new phone! FINALLY given up on the Sony Elm. Terrible phone. (The sound is so crappy! I can hardly hear people on the other end of the line for all the noise). I now have a Sony Ericsson X10 Mini. And, yeah, I swore to myself, I would not get another Sony phone... I tried to find myself a Nokia, but all the phones I liked either didn't have GPS or WiFi. Stupidness on Nokia's part. But, yeah the X10 Mini is an awesome phone. So far so good. Although, I have switched Network Providers (which works out a little cheaper each month), and at the moment the new Network is giving me some trouble, and I am getting very frustrated, so I am thinking of switching back. I'm still deciding...
Hmm. Not sure what else there is to report...
Oh, I've been doing quite well on eBay lately. Sold quite a few things actually. I had a massive sort out of my comics the other week, and I've sold a few of those. Plus I put a load of my old CDs on eBay too. I've brought a few things for my Phone, some earphones, a case etc etc. I've also brought the fifth season of Supernatural. I've almost finished the fourth season now. I want to buy the second season of Dollhouse, and the first season of Warehouse 13, but I need to save up a little for those, lol.
We are almost at the one month mark of VA's Last Sacrifice, the 6th book! I am SO looking forward to it!!! Apparently we are getting Quote teasers starting November 7th!! Same as we did for the last book. SO hope this is true! Also Richelle should be putting up the first chapter of the book on her website at some point in the next few weeks! Yay! Can't wait!!
And okay, it's now gone midnight, so I am off to bed.
