I confess... I start school tomorrow and I'm scared.
- I have my bulletin boards covered with bright paper and looking pretty.
- Papers and study packets copied, collated and waiting to be distributed.
- Seating charts are prepared for my 9th and 11th graders.
- Lesson plans carefully hand written with clear objectives and assessments. Perfectly aligned with state standards
- My lunch is ready to go for tomorrow morning.
- I know what I’m wearing with which shoes and hairstyle.
I’m so prepared… but so freaking out right now.
Most of my co-workers have crap piled all over their room, some had not made it to the copier, which is not working at the moment, and I'm the one having a meltdown!
DEEP BREATH
So I think I'm even more nurvous than I was starting my first year of teaching, probably because I know now what I am getting myself into.
::smacks forehead::
WHAT AM I DOING?
I just don't want hateful students like the ones who review me on ratemyteacher.com ::shudder:: Stupid children.
I just need a roll of duct tape, and all will be well. And a beer.
Look at the pretty colors! That should last me the semester, for 5th period, AT LEAST.
On a lighter note, I have decorated my room with pictures of sharks.
That is because I am awesome.
That's right, little ones, Ms. Sharkey won't shred you to pieces....
just your half-assed-crap-plagerized papers.
Back to School!
