SO!.....um....yea...well.......
Howdy everybody,
I haven't updated in a long while since I got my amp which really wasn't a long while, but like a week or two ago. So, this last weekend, I went and picked out my Tux for prom and Marina and I went to pick out the flowers and stuff also. We have all the prom stuff out of the way about a month ahead of prom so it's all good. Then we went out to eat at O'Charleys because we both had big cravings for steak, but moreso those killer rolls with that rad butter stuff. Then we went to her house and hung out with her mom and stepdad and watched movies, it was an excellent evening on the whole.
The next day, Saturday, Wait Till Wednesday was supposed to have a practice, but Ian ,our drummer, didn't feel like coming so basically just Peter and I hung around and played guitars, but we did write some new stuff and we finally got around to finishing a song we've had around for a while, so that's cool. Then I left Peter's and went home, my parents left to go do their own stuff because I was going to the Battle of The Bands at the high school and Marina was gonna come pick me up. Marina came over after she got off work and we went to Broad Ripple because she needed a shorter belly-button ring thingy and I gladly went along because any trip to Broad Ripple is a good trip. After I told Marina many times that nose piercings look bad and she bought her item, we went over to Jimmy John's(The Best Sandwich's In The World) and ate. It was an excellent meal and then we headed our way over the the high school.
At the Battle of the Bands, Annex Again was terrible (I thought so at least), As I You was terrible, but a little better than Annex Again (I Thought so at least), The Last Knights were drunk punk (as Peter and I agreed), and Andrew Can't Skate and Crimson Fallout were awesome. In the end though, Crimson Fallout took first in a land slide. They won around $200 from what I here. That's cool, there stuff is awesome. Then Marina and I went to Barnes N' Nobles, got cold coffee drinks, and bought books. Then she took me home, because my parent's won't give me my license. :-( It's ok though, because that was an awesome day and it was one of the few times when I got to see Marina for two days in a row.
Then Yesterday, Sunday, I didn't do anything till Youth Group and it was Tom's going away party. People told stories, and there was even a Mountain Dew Fountain. It was awesome and there was a big cross to sign and a journal to write in. I thanked him for all he had done for me, and I don't miss him yet, but I know I'll realize how influential he was to me once he's gone. Marina cried as she thanked him for all he had helped her through. It surprised me, but I thought about it and he had helped her a lot.
That was my weekend on the whole and now a whole new crappy week of school begins anew. Oh and by the way today it ws 48 degrees and rainy...It's spring grand!
Spring Break is next week too. I'm going with Marina and her mom to Disney World, it should be shibby. I'm meger excited, because I love Disney World. We are going for four days and then I'll be around to hang out with all of you people that are just stickin' around town.
